The Abducted Books 1 and 2

Excellent stories. I was on the edge of my seat until the conclusion of book 2. Great storyline. The characters were three-dimensional and the dialogue was very realistic.

TOO MUCH DUMBNESS!

I started this series liking Miriam & the story. But by this installment I couldn't stand her & the story got ridiculous. It was like she lost all sense of self preservation. She kept repeating the same stupid behavior time after time in service to & on the word of the insane demon devil ,Philip Never did she consider that her daughter had already lost her father to this evil & didn't need to lose her mother too. Every time she went off by herself at the request of the demon, all the while lamenting her love of her daughter, she proved her stupidity. Because it ended the same, her trapped, the child she went after traumatized even more than they were before, her child, fiancé & colleagues all left to worry & wonder while she plays chicken with a monster. The Miriam character started out heroic but devolved into a reckless idiot. The Philip character was beyond ridiculous. He ran around kidnapping & beating up little girls (for what we don't know), killing everybody: family, friends, people he didn't know & then gets barbequed by one of his victims & gets up like it was nothing & continued on his merry rampage of vengeance.
