Publisher's summary

Desperate times call for desperate measures, even if that means joining an alien surrogacy program.

Life on other planets is possible. The new planet discovered in the solar system, Klaskar, has been accepted as a reality and a peaceful truce drawn between humanity and the blue-skinned Klaskians. The species would have remained separate, until it was proved that a human could birth a Klaskian young.

Life has come down to two choices for Janelle Speirs. Apply to the surrogacy program and be paid to use her womb to bear an alien young, or find herself homeless. Joining the program might be risky, but at least she’ll have the money to start over after she comes back to Earth.

Once Janelle arrives on Klaskar, things aren’t like she pictured. She’s shocked to find that she’s to be mated, not only to one male but two. Legend has it the Klaskians are superb lovers, and it means a bigger payment so Janelle agrees.

Janelle never planned on surrendering more than her body. Can her Klaskian males capture her heart as well? Is she willing to take the risk and learn to trust and love after a lifetime of abandonment?

This is not a happy ending

Not my cup of tea overall. It needed much more. The book reads like the first quarter of a good book. I suppose the rest is up to our imagination.

Not a fan of the ending

This book (a gentre I really like) was disappointing. I realize that the author needed to cram in all the action into a short book. But the fact that she held on to her virginity through her life on earth, and then insisted on both of them at the same time the moment she lost her virginity stretched my ability to stay in the story. And I hate the ending. The parameters were all spelled out in the beginning, but for some reason I kept hoping that they would find a way to stay together. I cannot imagine leaving two lovers and her young behind with all those feelings. I hate this kind of ending. I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. Sorry about my opinion. The book was good, the ending killed it for me though.

Longing for Love

Three beings, one Earth woman and two Klaskian males, longing for love and family. I loved the story until the end. I hope they have a continuance to their love story.

What?

Why? Why does this tiny book end like this? It could have been so much better if there was just a bit more character building and then had a proper ending.

No HEA

Beautiful story with two hot, vegetarians and environmentalists aliens. It was a sweet trip that turned sour at the end. You know from the start they're meant to be apart but still one hopes for a different ending. Personally I loved the story but I prefer HEAs in my romance, so I won't be continuing this series

Quick read!

Alien Surrogate by Amelia Wilson is a first in a new series. I like the storyline, it moved along and the characters were likeable. I didnt much care for the ending this, just felt like something was missing.

didn't like the ending.

Overall as story goes it was a good story but I didn't like how it ended.
It would have been a better ending if she would have had the choice to stay on the planet since she fell in love with her 2 men.
it would have also alleviated the hurt of loosing the child she gave birth to as well.
coming from a mother who has had one taken this really made me angry even though I knew to expect it.

Not an HEA story although very well performed

I actually enjoyed the story up to the very end. The characters were lovable and loved each other. I also enjoyed the descriptions of the alien world, housing, clothing and so on. I was just shocked that it was not a happy ending for anyone. In my opinion, it falls out of the romance category of stories and just as the name says, it is a surrogacy story. I really struggled as to whether the story should be 3 or 4 stars since the ending was a real downer.

I thought that the performance of the story was quite well done. It was easy to tell the characters apart.
