Practical with enough context

I was looking for context in addition to understanding what geomancy is and how some practice it. I got both with this book.

Good book not a good audio book

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

The book is interesting and worth a read (if you are interested in divination). You'll learn where Geomancy came from (from arabic countries and picked up by Medieval Europe). ...but beyond the introduction portion containing the history you'll need the book in paper form. If you are actually interested in divining a few questions you'll need the charts and various other tables in the book and it becomes very inconvient to have to write down dozens and dozens of meanings for different symboles. The audio book references an accompanying PDF file with much of the information you'd need but the PDF file is not actually listed on the Audible website anywhere I could find (perhaps Audible will post the PDF, but until then you'll still need the paperback to make use of the information in the book).

If you want this book either buy the paper version or be prepared to buy the paper back version once you've hit a wall on taking notes from the Audiobook.

Clear Introduction to Geomancy

I watched a one hour lecture by a well known geomancer but was left with the feeling I missed a lot of information.

He recommended the book the audiobook is based on, and I used a credit to buy the audio version.

So glad I did and that I listened to the audio first before digging into the book.
