About this listen

Kaiden thought the end had come. Instead, it was just the beginning.

Transported to the world of Aterra, Kaiden wakes up in a land where magic is real, and dungeons full of danger and treasure are scattered across the planet. Everyone has magical abilities, and power is earned through skill, cunning, and survival. With his old life behind him, Kaiden is determined to join the military's notorious Dungeoneer Corps, a group of daring dungeon divers who risk everything for glory, loot, and rank.

But this new world isn’t all fun and games. Aterra is filled with deadly creatures, mysterious forces, and challenges far beyond anything Kaiden’s ever faced. He must learn quickly—about his own hidden abilities, the true nature of the dungeons, and why he was brought here in the first place.

With dungeons full of traps and monsters waiting to crush the unprepared, Kaiden’s only chance at survival is to level up, master his skills, and unlock his potential. But will that be enough to survive the treacherous depths? Or will the dungeons claim him before he can discover the truth?

A LitRPG adventure full of action, magic, and dungeon-crawling excitement awaits.

The AI narrator was mediocre ….. normally the AI narrator is horrible

I enjoyed the overall storyline and plot. Not sure how I feel about the main character. A little confused on the leveling process. Definitely don’t understand how the main character can do all of this exercising for weeks and weeks and yet his strength is at zero. I assumed it would all be made clear before the end of the book but the end of the book came and….. nothing. If there was an explanation, I completely missed it. Also not particularly crazy about a main character that just keeps getting handed stuff and falls ass backwards into good situations. Also, the main character seems to need every single tiny little thing to be explained to him, figuring things out on his own doesn’t seem to be his strong suit.

The Adventure Begins..

Jumps right in, yet a bit of a slow start, sets things up, and ends as it begins..

I really like the story.

I liked the story. The AI narration was a little off. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Better

The story line is original and paces well. Though the AI voice is better there is still inflection and emoting problems. Also, if you're going to use technology then USE technology. Make a production of it. Use different voices (ie female voices for female characters) and add sound effects and music.

AI Read Literature is Terrible

All AI read literature lack the same qualities: feeling, cadence, and inflection. Of course, these are three of the most important aspects when reading a story aloud. Listen at your own risk.
