Publisher's summary

The ocean, October, outdoors, orange. All O's that sneaky damn letter. I need the O. Crave the O, even dream about the bastard.

My name is Olivia and this is my virgin diary. Yep, at the ripe age of 24 I'm single and O-less. And to top it all off, with a shiny cherry, I'm a first grade teacher. Not much hope meeting Prince Charming in my workplace. I live with my hyper Yorkie and wild imagination. And I despise the letter O.

Follow Olivia Olander in her wild and hysterical journey as she hunts down the elusive O. She may hate the obscure O now, but Officer Oren O'Brien hasn't lit up her world.

Will Olivia ever learn to love the O or be cursed with its lingering presence the rest of her life?

Overall ok.

I would actually give this book more a 3.5 then just a three. This is a quick but enjoyable read. It was full of funny moments and an entertaining storyline. Olivia had some moments where her age and inexperience come across as immaturity. The same could be said for her best friend Scout. But the book was still fun to read. Oren, the leading man, was presented as a good guy and very caring and attentive and patient where Olivia was concerned. I look forward to reading the next book in the series and seeing what else this author has written. I didn't love the narrator for this story as I think her voice is some of what contributed to the immaturity thoughts for me. However it was still a story that could be enjoyed despite those occasional moments of immaturity. I would certainly recommend this story, especially to anyone who has yet to give this author a try.

5 O Star’s

Olivia Olander is one heck of a funny, sweet girl. But she is so much more than that when her and Scout her bestie get together they are hilarious. I was laughing or snorting through this book. What a great up lifting book to listen to.

You got to feel for the girl she hate the letter O and she can’t find her O. But in a roundabout way she does. Growing up with her dad to guild her after her mother’s passing girly things were not his forte to say the least.

“I love you dad even if I inherited all your awkward genes.” -Oliva

When she meets good looking cop man Oren O'Brien its funny and sweet.
He brings out her inner scaredy-cat who is afraid to feel and she bring him out of his self-imposed shell.

“Close your eyes and jump with me.” – Oren

“I have to fix myself before I can move on.” - Olivia

I loved the dynamic. This book is funny and witty. Over all great read once I will read again just for the light heartedness of it all.

Things I will not soon forget, Cherry Pie, Elbows, Bears, Cops, and Handcuffs.

5 Star Comedy

Freaking hilarious book by HJ Bellus!!! Olivia and Scout are so funny, at times I was literally laughing out loud and wiping away tears!!! The banter between them is amazing. Then enters the sexy Officer O'Brien and things get even better, from the banter with the girls to the hilarious chaos that seems to follow Olivia everywhere she goes. DEFINITELY a great read for 2016!!!!!!

strange phrases

This book was okay. Not great and not totally terrible. I think the love interest was a flat character. He never fully developed as a character. you see glimpses - that his parents are rich, that he's a hot cop, that he was engaged, but you never see much beyond that. You don't see what he wants - he's more just there to serve the main character. I also think the main character was super immature in the way she talked especially as a first grade teacher. I wouldn't listen again, but it had some really funny moments.

I skipped to the end

It was ok, but SO long😬 I had to stop reading because it droned on! I read a book and listened to 2 audio books before I came back to finish. At that point,I skipped to the end. The story had cute elements and was humorous at times. If I'd have paid for it, I'd have been mad though.
