About this listen

Biology student River-Lea Thompson's plan to be a surrogate mother for a rich billionaire and his wife was meant to be her way out of her debt problems.

But she had no idea that her problems were only just beginning.

Just weeks away from giving birth and Silicon Valley billionaire Matthew Chase has told River-Lea that he and his wife have separated and as a result the terms of the agreement will have to be adjusted.

With Matthew's wife no longer interested in raising a baby with no connection to her, Matthew feels he has no choice but to suggest that he pay River-Lea to raise the baby for him.

Can she possibly accept the billionaire's outrageous proposal? Or might there be another way to solve this predicament?

Good story badly narrated

An interesting story line, but poorly narrated. The attempt at voices really hurt my ears.

Great Love Story

Loved the story, however the female performance by the narrator was a bit hard to tolerate. The tone of the narrator for the male character made him appear as a weak , not what I would have expected of a billionaire's role.

Loved the Plot Twist

This book was given in excange for an honest review via audiobook boom. That being said it was a great story. Not your usual billionair sex book. This one actually has a plot and although there was sex the description did not interfer with the story. The narrator has to practice doing female voices and switching from one to the other. There were also several technical glitches that should be corrected. But overall it was a good story and I truly loved the ending. You would not see it coming. You know that something is going to happen but it is not what you think. I hope to read more stories from this author.

Great story but...

I was given this book by the author, narrator or publisher in exchange for my unbiased opinion...

The narrator was fine for the male voice but was terrible for the female parts. The story was good though so it didn't stop me from finishing the book. There were some rereads that weren't edited out. Overall, my suggestion is get a female for the female parts.

Unwanted Surrogate

If you could sum up The Billionaire's Unwanted Surrogate in three words, what would they be?

Cute short story

What other book might you compare The Billionaire's Unwanted Surrogate to and why?

This book is kinda like all the other Billionaires books, Rich man meets poor girl and they fall in love. Now this book has some twist but in the end they are all the same.

What does Rob Saladino bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Rob did a good job.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Maybe when the wife came back.

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed this book I was pleased that although it was sexy it was still a good story, there were some glitches but it didn't take away from the story so I would recommend it

Stop Me If You've Heard This, A Billionaire Meets

... a single gal in need of $ Uhg....

The Billionaires Unwanted Surrogate

The times have changed and even though this is a newly released book, the title of surrogate should be replaced with gestational carrier. We must keep up! :-)

River, is a biology student working her way through college to save the world from impending, environmental disaster. In order to pay her schooling, she has agreed to be the gestational carrier for billionaire Matthew Chase and his wife.

In a cleverly timed manner, she will give birth during her summer break, so that she can be rested and back at school without a hitch. Apparently no one told Mrs. Chase the plan because she separates from Mr. Chase as the weeks wined down. Suddenly Matthew & River must adapt to this new situation.

You would probably be able to guess how the rest of the story plays out. Any big drama is left too far along in the book and rectified too easily .

It seems that I am stumbling upon a lot of "contemporary romances" that should be (except for a few "for mature audiences only" scenes), they would be better placed in the young adult and/or teen.

The writing is clean and the narration very good, but the overall package leaves this listener wanting. If offered, I do not think that I would continue on on in any type of follow up or series.

Nice story but ruined by wrong narrator

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

This was a well written book with a nice story of a surrogate and her struggle to get the father to take responsibility for the child following the collapse of his marriage . But why on earth the a male narrator was chosen when the whole book is primarily from Rivers point of view I really don't understand and to top it all the voice for the female parts was like a child horrendous and nearly enough to make you ditch the book . Also the audio editior need to listen again as ther are some errors that rally should not be there .This book was gifted to me by audiobook blast in exchange for an honest review

Narrator spoils an otherwise good book

The narrator, Rob Saladino, impression of a female voice has the effect of nails on a chalk board. His attempt sounds like an SNL sketch of the Church Lady. Not an enjoyable auditor experience. The book was ill served by his efforts. It was hard to complete the audible book because of the narration.
Otherwise, the story was good.

Book was a cute Billionaire Story

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. I thought this book was cute. The story was pretty superficial, but that is the way these "Billionaire" stories are. Lena Skye did a great job of creating a complete story and unique characters. Enjoyed this light hearted audiobook. Didn't require a lot of close thought to read it and understand it.
