Researched to the smallest detail and with every one of the reader's senses affected by his words, Nelson has told - in this one story - thousands of experiences of beautiful, enslaved human beings who did not have a voice, who were not heard in Life.

James Nelson hits it out of the park again giving it a historical depiction of blackbirders seeing through The eyes of a freed slave and a former pirate book 2 in his pirate round series filled with historical facts and plenty of action it has a lot of the horrors of slavery depicted in the book but it does not dwell on it overly, tells you about the history and about the people but it is also a fun fiction book
