Publisher's summary

Bestselling author Viola Shipman is at her absolute best with The Clover Girls. Listeners of all ages and backgrounds will love its powerful, redemptive nature and the empowering message at its heart.

Elizabeth, Veronica, Rachel and Emily met at Camp Birchwood as girls in 1985, where over four summers they were the Clover Girls—inseparable for those magical few weeks of freedom—until the last summer that pulled them apart. Now approaching middle age, the women are facing challenges they never imagined as teens, struggles with their marriages, their children, their careers, and wondering who it is they see when they look in the mirror.

Then Liz, V and Rachel each receive a letter from Emily with devastating news. She implores the girls who were once her best friends to reunite at Camp Birchwood one last time, to spend a week together revisiting the dreams they'd put aside and repair the relationships they'd allowed to sour. But the women are not the same idealistic, confident girls who once ruled Camp Birchwood, and perhaps some friendships aren't meant to last forever….

Must listen or better yet read this book

Love the clover girls. Book is about four girls who meet at summer camp a form a friendship. One of the girls invites the other three to the same camp twenty some years after there last season. The story is about how there lives have progressed since there last year at camp together. Are any of them living the life they imagined? Loved this book and did not want the story to end. Love Viola Shipman books.

Loved it!

This story hits home so closely. I belong to a group of 4 great friends who didn't talk for many years not many years not because we were fighting but because life got in the way. It took a tragedy to bring us all back together and now we are pretty much inseparable anytime we can be.

Clover Girls 4 Life!!!!

Fantastic Narrators!
Just WOW! This book will make you laugh and cry...I did both throughout the entire book. If you love your best friends, read this book. If you went to Summer Camp (or not), read this book. If you have elderly parents, read this book but with a box of tissue. This is one book I will read/listen to again.

"Clover 🍀 Girls" Forever Amazing

I loved it! The narritor did an awesome job giving life to each of these wonderful chacters. I enjoyed it when the girls were back at camp in the 80'. It brought back memories of the best decade of my life. The struggles of life as a female teenager is shown within the words of Clover Girls. 🍀 Forever ♾️ You will love it ❤️.

A journey

If this story was so relatable in so many ways. It easily wove each girl/woman’s story into the hall. Each character whether as a girl or as a woman had characteristics I could relate to. While it was a story or a novel of self discovery for these middle-aged women the age old Truths contained we’re good reminders as well as entertaining.

Slow moving

Seemed unrealistic and kept dragging on. The story was OK but was not a fan.

Loved it!!

I loved this listen so much I have never listened or read a book by this author and I believe I will be listening to many many more. The narrator‘s were very well picked and really brought the characters to life I wrote a review on another page stating I laughed and I cried and then I laughed again and cried again. There’s some Nostalgia and some real life thoughts and feelings that are relatable and give richness to the story. I highly recommend this listen

An Amazing “Coincidence!”

This is the best story that I have been blessed with in quite some time. It was shared by one of my own Clover Girls. She is a friend I grew up with—one from whom I was separated far too long because of youthful hurts. So much later, we too have been drawn back together in forgiveness and friendship.
