Story sometimes stalls and lags a bit but overall Fun, fun, fun! Characters are delightful and background deliciously creeps in to reveal surprises!

I always know a story written by Iris Beaglehole and narrated by Bethan Dixon Bate is going to be great. I'm moving on to The Crone of Elders Blaze now!

I like the cosy feel of it and the girlpower running through the book.
I don’t like the plot holes and what feels like inane and stupid choices and conclusions throughout.
I am going to listen to the next book because I line the narrator and concept of the series. This could have been quite good.
