TWO MEN WHO HATE EACH OTHER. ONE IMPOSSIBLE MISSION. A LEGEND IN THE MAKING.

A warrior with nothing to fight for is paired with a thieving assassin with nothing to lose. Together they must steal a treasure that no one can reach. The Crown Tower is the impregnable remains of the grandest fortress ever built and home to the realm’s most valuable possessions. But it isn’t gold or jewels the old wizard is after, and this prize can only be obtained by the combined talents of two remarkable men. Now if Arcadius can just keep Hadrian and Royce from killing each other, they just might succeed.

Absolutely LOVE

I listened to the original series and became OBSESSED with this world of characters. I’m so glad the author started writing more books about the main character’s origin adventures. I will listen to any and every book by this author!! I love the dramatic version as it helps me keep the characters straight while having fun being immersed in the story. It can get a little intense but no more than an action film. Great books, great production, a must listen!!

Amazing portrayal of Riyria

I adored the performance of the actors. It made me buy the next one. The actors portraying Royce and Hadrian made me LOL more than once.

The narration sounds like the actor sees a comma rather than a period at the end of a sentence more often than not. (i.e "It felt like a horse fell on him. Oh, right," vs. It felt like a horse fell on him. Oh, right.") This got better, but was a bit distracting.

The graphic audio really brings the story to life.

The dramatization adds an immersion to the story that made me want to continue with the stories from the author and world that they created. The voice acting is good and improved as the story progressed.

Fun!

Not sure about the voice for Hadrian-- he sounds too old-- but this is a fun listen!

excellent dramatisation of an excellent book

This series has always had a soft spot in my heart, it is the best buddy fantasy stories I have ever read. Having it dramatized in this way brings the whole thing to such vibrant life. I will most certainly be binging the remainder of these audiobooks in the coming weeks.

EXCELLENT STORY AND PRODUCTION

The characters are so interesting. The story of how they come together is so well written. I like this graphic audio version.

Pretty good

The first book seemed so slow but this book makes it make sense. Probably will finish the series.

Great story and performance

The only thing I didn’t like about the performance is the choice of voices for Hadrian and Royce. The voice actor for Hadrian as a harsh voice that I would’ve associated with a ruthless killer like Royce. I feel like the voices should’ve been switched, but by the end of the book, I got used to them.

Im hooked!

I tried to listen to the older versions but really couldn't get into it. It's not the narrators fault, I have ADHD. Graphic Audio is the way to go, It's been such a fun experience. I tend to lose track of where I'm at a lot while working, The different voices helps with staying focused on what's going on. We take for granted how much work and planning goes into creating these worlds. Its full of surprises and I cant wait to follow the duo's journey. I am glad I started here. I've ordered the next Graphic Audio release,
