About this listen

Power is back and no one is prepared...The Dawning of Power Trilogy includes: Call of the Herald, Inherited Danger, Dragon Ore (Available separately)

Echoes of the ancients' power are distant memories, tattered and faded by the passage of eons, but that is about to change. A new dawn has arrived. Latent abilities, harbored in mankind's deepest fibers, wait to be unleashed. Ancient evils awaken, and old fears ignite the fires of war. In times such as these, ordinary people have the power to save the world...or destroy it.

Fantastic!!!

If you are looking for a story that immediately pulls you in, and has your attention over an epic journey, look no further. This book (actually three books for the price of one) is a great way to spend a week of listening.

Its fast paced, but the performance is not rushed.

The story is magical, but feels grounded in every way. It doesn’t shy on religion or politics, but is told as simply as a fairy tale.

I give it all stars!

very poor performance

the narration is almost monotone. I had trouble maintaining concentration on the story. If the story had someone else reading, I might recommend this book.

Amazing

Starts out a little slow but once it gets going it is hard to put down. Fast paced, rich with detail, and the characters keep you guessing.

Great story, good pace!

The narrating got better as the book went on, and it's well-paced. I find some of the resolutions a little too pat and dry. And the character really does seem a bit too perfect, but eh it's a good story!

Good read

Likable characters flows smoothly. I'm looking forward to future books in the series. Very enjoyable.
