Loved this refreshing take on a common HR trope. It was a great start to a new series. The MMC and MFC were super likable and I loved the boys in the boat element and can't wait for the friends to get their HEA. My only complaint was there was a bit too much internal monologues for my liking. As always, Ashford McNabb was wonderful.

Ashford MacNab is as close to as auto buy as a narrator can get. And this one was perfect for her!
It was a cute and clever story, low angst, zero terror, and plenty of heat. Not the usual tale but not so unusual to turn off this regency loving reader.

Narrator: fabulous!
Heat factor: steaming, hot!

The story was perfect, not to much angst, good narration. The dukes voice was dreamy, Jo was a perfect matchmaker. The narration was spot on.

New author for me- absolutely great! Super lead characters and supporting casts. Not A sappy love story or ones from the gaming hells or crime world and not just attracted to somebody because they are beautiful or previously ruined. Treat yourself to a complex, fascinating love story with intriguing and enjoyable plot! Listen almost in one long sitting it was so engaging!

The reviews led me to believe the story was really good. i thought it was not as good as some of Jennifer Haymore's other stories. Ashford zmcNab narration was fantastic.

There really should be an indication that this story has adult content or not!
Good story but those parts were not my cup of tea. And the narrator’s men is not pleasant at all.
