Publisher's summary

Books 4-6 of The Eliminator Series

The Eliminator

Jacobs finds he's still not done with Mallette’s bunch. Lawrence Wiggins, Mallette’s lawyer, is found dead, leading the imprisoned crime boss to getting a new attorney appointed from New York. Roger Alexander is not only Mallette’s new lawyer, but he’s also taking over his organization. But to do that, he needs Mallette, and the rest of his men, eliminated. He calls for a truce with Jacobs. But something still isn’t right. Is Alexander really just serving up the rest of Mallette’s men, or is he luring Jacobs into a trap to try and get rid of The Eliminator once and for all?

The Betrayal

It's just another ordinary day for Brett Jacobs. He's spending it in the cemetery with his family. But his quiet morning is about to get thrown for a loop. Standing in the crosshairs of a sniper, Jacobs is saved from death by a beautiful private investigator named Abbie Johnson. As the two start getting to know each other, Jacobs starts to think that she may not be what she claims she is. Is Abbie the woman Jacobs needs to finally move on? Is she really interested in helping Jacobs in his fight against the criminal element? Or is she waiting for the right opportunity to twist the knife in Jacobs' back?

The Comeback

Franks finds himself in a bind and gets Jacobs to help alleviate the problem. Barberio's Butchers, a small-time gang with big-time aspirations, is looking to put a hurting on the pawn shop owner. It's up to Jacobs to make sure that doesn't happen. While that's going on, Mallette finds himself with a new lawyer. This one has better news for him. It seems that Mallette is on the comeback and retaking control of his operation. Now, some of the holdovers from Alexander's bunch are intent on impressing their new boss and put a hit out. Someone is taking a bullet. But who?

Another enjoyable Story

Good story, but almost didn’t purchase next chapter due to Narrator not being as good as first three books and Frank’s character was quite annoying.

Disappointed

Didn’t like that the character of Ed Franks went from black to white after the third book because of the change in voice. Story lines not as good for book 6.

Great books , it's always tough when a series switches narrators.

I love this series, Brian Hutchinson created some incredible character voices, Eric Burgher is good, but between the first few books of this series and and the Silencer series, I just got attached to Hutchinson's voice.

Series

I’ve enjoyed the series. I don’t understand why Eddie Franks’ character seems to become dumber in books 5-6.

Frank is all wrong

You need to give more thought to your narrators. Frank is a child with no common sense, his childlike narration gives me the creeps. The eliminator is better than the last series, but put up against Frank he will never have the edge that I believe was written into his character. Not a bad premise just thoughtless casting Do better! Peace ✌🏻

Good series

A typical Mike Ryan series. Good plots but slow at times. Overall good series to listen to. Love the trios dynamics

annoying

books four through six was horrible and annoying. The main character is an ex detective that can't detect. He has to be slapped in the face with it for him to see it. The constant back and forth with the secondary character is annoying. The writer is leaning to hard on making him a super talkative idiot. The first three books he was actually pretty competent now he can't think and dependant on the main character. I am disappointed in the story itself. The bad guys are all dumb come on.

narratoe

should not have changed narrators from books 1-3 to the narrators in books 4-6, Also went from serious in 1-3 to silly in 4-6 when character of Eddie was portrayed differently. would like to return both.

Don't waste your time or money

there are not enough details about the people or the area. the book could have been called one book that's why I don't buy it unless it's a box. and the bickering Jacobs and Eddie gave me a headache I had a fast forward through it
