Publisher's summary

*From a USA Today bestselling author comes the exciting continuation of the Mind Dimensions series*

Kidnapped. Consciousness expanded. And that was just the start of my day.

I always thought I was a nice enough guy. The kind who’d never want to commit murder.

Turns out I simply lacked incentive.

Some crimes can never be forgiven.

great sci fi

loved the narrator and the story. there's so many conspiracy theories here that you could go on forever. kind of reminds me of the movie jumpers.

Still great but death takes too long!

I was so frustrated during the last fight scene that I was screaming at the narration. The suspense was too much. Just get to it and quit stumbling around. Lots of explanations in this series 3 book. Would like more down time enjoying the good aspects of their realities instead of fighting for life over and over. Still looking forward to next book in the series. So many conspiracies leaves my head spinning, in spite of very good explanations. Very much a favorite for me.

Author Delivers!

I have to say I am more into this series than before if that is possible. There are so many twists and turns that just when I think I am figuring it out something totally unpredictable happens. Darren finds out more about his family and how he came to be. He finds out that some people he just met are actually family and some he thought he trusted he could not. There are several layers to this story. It just keeps getting deeper and deeper.
I think about the books and the creative process behind them and am amazed at the ability of this author to create such wonderful stories. I guess some people are just blessed with the gift of a great imagination and the talent to express it. I can't help but be in awe of the whole process. I think to myself " how in the world did he think of that?" You won't be disappointed with this book and will want to hear the next installment!

The enlightened

Roberto Scarlato is a fabulous narrator the way portrays all the different characters in this series. Very believable!

Looking for pizzazz

IMO Dima Zales wrote creatively. Darren, the main character learns about himself and will continue to learn more about his powers throughout the series.

I was torn by the creativity of the writing, the slow start up to the story (wishing I had started on book 2) and Mr. Roberto Scarlato's reading. His voice just didn't grab me as someone like Darren's character. He definitely put empathy into telling the story but for me lacked the passion, the "pow" impact, when listening to a struggle or scene with an explosion, or gun shots. I never felt the terror or concern in his tone.

Top notch storytelling

I liked it even though certain plot points were so obvious it was painful. Can't wait for the next book.

The saga cannot get any better!

If you could sum up The Enlightened in three words, what would they be?

Drama, Unpredictable and breathtaking. Believe me, I haven't been so hooked with a saga before like this one. I can compare this to The Lord of The Rings, it doesn't have the same background or anything but I can relate it to how well written the story is. Every loose end from previous chapters get completed and solved in this new book that for me still wouldn't close completely the story. The universe of the mind dimension, is indeed, a dimension so vastly deep like the mind itself. You can create stories from stories and keep letting your imagination going.

What does Roberto Scarlato bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The whole character and personality of the characters. I always love listening to audiobooks more than reading them. I like them because I can listen to them anywhere, in the traffic, laying down, at the gym. Sometimes it feels like a song, you get trapped by the whole scenario that the song is creating, the ambient, the sensations, the feelings, that's what happens when I listen to The Enlightened.

Any additional comments?

I believe that this saga had so much potential since the very fist beginning, and I am so glad that I could've listen to the whole saga. Each book amplifies your panorama of the story in a way that, once you start you get hooked up to see what's next and that's why you go to the next book devouring each one incessantly. But there's also a good thing, if you would read for example, this 3rd book without reading the previous books, you would understand everything that is happening and is enough to caught your attention, you wouldn't know why is it happening because you haven't read the previous ones, and that would be exactly why you would read them, to know how a intense, creative and complicated story was brought to life.

Good Read

Again...only issue I have is with the narrator sounding like a dead fish when he reads Darrins parts. All his other character voices have plenty of life, vim and vigor... so I know he can do it!!!

Couldn’t stop listening!

Love the story-love the characters-love the action- the only thing I didn’t love was that I reached the end.

Fantastic third installment

If you could sum up The Enlightened in three words, what would they be?

Spoiler Free Review:
Enlightenment is a thrill from beginning to end. As engrossing as the previous books, this series continues to be fast paced and action packed. Dima Zales is incredibly creative, in a genre that is sadly becoming copy and paste in terms of storyline. I love the plot twists, and how they change your perception of the story during re read. Hoping the next book will be out soon!
