The story was great and the audio was too. But the starting few minutes were somewhat halting and irritating to listen. ( the speed of the reader and not the story; I tried adjusting the speed to no avail).

I received a review copy of this book.

This book has very good world building, but falls a bit flat for me. There are one or two points where I believe there were minor plot holes or excessively convenient events helping the story along, but those didn't really bother me.

Very minor, this book can't seem to decide whether it is the first book in its series or the second book with a prequel. The cover says one, the Audible description says the other. This doesn't affect the quality of the artist, but I find it annoying.

Fun sci-fi listen, short and quickly paced but with really good flow. Looking forward to more in this series!
