This book kept me on the edge of my seat right up until the end and then it kind of fell flat. It’s definitely worth the read but be prepared to be let down as the end.

I truly enjoyed the writing throughout the plot, as it was both engaging and meticulously crafted. While I wasn't particularly fond of the narrator's style, it didn’t detract from my overall experience. I decided to speed up the playback, and that made a significant difference, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the story without any issues.

Initially, I found myself struggling to get into the narrative, but once I did, I was completely captivated. I can confidently say that this novel stands out as one of the best domestic thrillers I’ve had the pleasure of reading. Thank you for pouring your creativity into this work and sharing it with us. Your talent is truly appreciated!

I’m hooked on Bookouture thrillers and mysteries because they’re consistently well-written. This page-turner was no exception. Fantastic story, plot, and twists that I never saw coming. Excellent all the way around.

Fabulous story and narration

The story itself was ok but what I’m assuming was to create a sense of desperation resulted in slowing down the momentum, angst and interest. I’m glad I read to the end because that saved the story until the last hint of suspicion which felt like overkill at that point .

This was an excellent book! I like the way the story kept you guessing all the way through, and the narrator was extremely superb while reading this book. You could not figure out anything in this book, and did not give itself away. It was very good and very well written I would recommend this book to anyone that likes very suspenseful books
