Publisher's summary

Olive Anderson is dining alone at a hotel when a glamourous stranger joins her table, pretending to be her wife. What starts as a thrilling game quickly turns into something dangerous. But as much as the fake wife has her secrets, Olive just might have more . . .

The Fake Wife is a thriller that will shock and surprise you like the best television boxsets. If you enjoyed Netflix shows like Behind Her Eyes, The Stranger and Obsession you will love The Fake Wife.

Sharon Bolton's first LGBT title....

With Sharon Bolton, one can always expect the unexpected.

She is an extraordinarily talented author who takes risks and never, ever delivers the "same old, same old."

What was this book's most "unexpected"????

SEX!!!!

Lesbian sex, heterosexual sex, threesome sex, and bisexuality --- just to name a few!

A very far cry from Sharon Bolton's nuns in "Dead Woman Walking".

Definitely enjoyed Sharon Bolton's "sexless" titles much more than this one.

Twisty and compelling

Sharon Bolton never fails to provide a great story and this one did not disappoint. Listening to the audiobook edition only enhanced the tension of the story. Both narrators were great and propelled the story along making it impossible to stop listening.

What A Ride

Full of twists and turns, I found myself listening at every opportunity to find out how the story goes. Definitely worth a listen.

Not my Favorite SB novel

I’ve read several of the novels and enjoyed them. This one seemed a little less flushed out than most of them, and not very heavy on character development. Might’ve been able to look past that if it wasn’t for the nation, which, in my opinion, was dry, and not up to par with the other novels that I’ve listened to by the same author. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Not Great

Too long and confusing. Not as much of a thriller with a really twisted ending that I enjoy.
