Publisher's summary

Henry Harrison is an accidental child, but that doesn’t mean his great big family doesn’t love him. Even so, he’s good at blending into the background, content to watch everything from the shadows. He’s invisible, and his crush on his childhood best friend is even more invisible to her. But being in love with his best friend is the least of Henry’s worries when he finds himself locked in school with The Squad, five beautiful cheerleaders that rule the school.

A hurricane ravages their small town, keeping them locked away safe in school for three days of laughter, tears, friendship, and maybe—if Henry is lucky—love. But once they are set free, will Henry’s newfound crush on the mean girl, Norah Catalino, survive, or will he find himself bleeding out with his heart in his hands?

The third and final book in The Projects of Life series is full of fun and sweet crushes.

okay

This is the third book in the series, and though it was nice, I didn't like it as much as I did the previous two.
It was different in pace and atmosphere and a little cliche with the whole boy-best-friend theme.
The narrator was okay.

Sweet Listen

This is a sweet one and nice to have all in the Male POV. It's sweet and fun there are a few minor audio issues but overall a fairly quick and easy listen.

Fantastic High School Read

Parents- PG13 - middle school and up
Language- None
Violence- PG - Fist fight but nothing terrible
Sexual Content- nothing to warn of, just the kissing variety

Another really fun rom-com set in senior year of high school. Henry feels very unnoticed at school and unremarkable in general. The worst happens when the school is evacuated for a hurricane - which they don't see a lot of in their part of the country. Henry grabs his stuff and takes the elevator, the power goes out and he finds himself trapped with the 5 most popular girls/cheerleaders in the school... but he's wishing he could be stuck with the actual girl he has a crush on. There's so much drama, growth and heart that it's hard to put down and simply a fun read.

Narrator- 4⭐ had pretty good differentiations, he had a pleasant voice and good normal speed.

*The book cover needs to be corrected, it should say "Five girls, One Boy, and an Elevator Ride Gone Wrong" currently says Four girls.

Delightful!

Henry Harrison considers himself nothing special, easily overlooked, an oopsy child. He walks through his high school, basically unseen, but the hurricane on its way to his town is about to change his life forever. He has a best friend, Vic, who he's pretty sure he's in love with, but how can he tell her and take the chance of losing her. As the hurricane approaches, Henry and 5 cheerleaders are caught in the school with no way out. What happens next is a wonderful coming of age story that uses dialogue to flesh out the characters much more than action. Leann, Jessica, Liam, Olivia and Norah are cheerleaders with a complicated, angst-filled past and present relationship. Henry becomes their buffer, their sounding board to sort out their lives, but by spending hours and days with them, he realizes that there's someone and something more that he's wanted in life. I loved this story with its tender moments, its difficult moments and its lovely moments. The story wraps up in the most satisfactory way and the epilogue is perfect!
Dylan McCormick does a wonderful job with the narration. He expresses the rollercoaster of emotions these high school seniors are experiencing just right and the pace and delivery are perfect.

Sweet YA RomCom

I enjoyed book 3 of "The Projects of Life" series a lot. I was so captivated by the story, that I listened to the whole audiobook in one sitting. Five female cheerleaders and one guy are stuck in their high school due to a raging hurricane. The story was cute. The characters were fun. There were some typical moments that revived memories from my own high school days. Dylan McCormick's narration was great. At first, it took me a little while to adjust to his voice; however, by the end of the story, his voice helped to bring Henry Harrison to life. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.
