I have fallen in love with this series, and Merciless is one of my all time favorite character's. When I need a break from all the serious intense romance I listen too, it is awesome to come across a story that is so refreshingly different, full of banter, dry humor, and lots of laughs but what really makes this audiobook exceptional is the narration.

In my opinion, laughter is one of the best medicines, and anything that is humorous is best experienced when you can hear it or see it, and Jeffrey Kafer really delivered a hilarious performance. In addition to the humor, he did an outstanding job of capturing all the different tones from the driest of humor to the angst Merciless felt towards his loved ones.

Merciless, is such a multi-layered character! He was ever at odds with his internal feelings about being a supervillian, and is so in love with his wife. Each time he faced an obstacle, he just jumped right in with barely a thought or a plan, but somehow he managed to come out on top. Well, there were times when his henchmen, and wife would save him, but he never hesitated.

Loved the story, and the ending really surprised me! I can't wait to see how book three unfolds!

If you are looking for a good story, and laugh, I definitely recommend this story and series!

This story is both hilarious and endearing. I've enjoyed both the first and second book and when my next credit comes up, I'm getting the third, without hesitation. Great narration, great writing. Funny and poignant, just all around a great listen.

The Supervillany Saga is such a fun series to listen to. Full of laughs and action! I was a bit surprised at the ending and can't wait to see what happens in book 3. Jeffrey Kafer really brings these characters to life with his narration.

Super Fun Story that has it all: super villain prison on the moon, zombified super heroes, More humor, more creatures, more craziness, and more action than book number 1!!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Games of Supervillainy to be better than the print version?

and I was not disappointed. A great listen and very funny, can't wait for book 3

With this kind of satirical writing style it is very easy to fall into the trap of the cynical and unbelievable but this is one book that pulls it off beautifully

Better than the first!

A good relief from serious SciFi or thrillers but not as funny as the first in the series. Maybe Phipps can put a little more humor in his next. Satire like this would be great to see and Jeffrey Kafer makes this book worthwhile. I can't imagine having to read this as truthfully the actual words don't seem to belie the humor and satire as much as Kafer invokes. Wouldn't be the second without him.

liked the story, loved the over-the-top movie references, and really loved the narrators voice acting combined with the books tone. I'm in for the next one!
