Whisked away again even further

As soon as I got the book I spent nearly all of my time listening until finished. You cannot put this story down!
Hayden and her friends and new found family are at it once again, and discover the body of a man who’d already died awhile ago! Solving this and continuing learning more about Destiny Falls, family, friends, and making new friends is keeping her very busy, let alone the handsome guy whose attention seems more and more turning toward stronger than casual friendly interest!
The ending stopped me so abruptly…I admit I was sad thinking it was the last book, but later saw there may be more - so glad!! Listening brought me memories but also new facts I hadn’t noticed or remembered from reading.

Elizabeth has magically gone even further above and beyond the last two books! Mystery, magic, intriguing characters, and history of the island and its people revealed in more detail, some things explained further also. Questions asked almost immediately , but answered more quickly within the story than previous books just confirms the creative genius that lurks In Elizabeth Pantley’s amazing mind! Then there are the cats, as complex as the people characters and essential to the story line too. Hope to see more mysteries solved in future books. Brava once again!

Just awesome!

This third book in the series continues the charm. Enjoyed the addition of the chef and the ghost characters…hope they figure in to the future stories. Going to start the fourth book right now!

Great story

The Ghosts Campers Tall Tales is the third book in the Destiny Falls series.
There are developed characters, a bit of intrigue, and a bit of humor.
I have read this book previously and the narrator did a fantastic job in the audio version.

Hayden and Olivia are on a short hike and discover the body of a man, who, was supposedly already dead from a fiery car crash a month earlier.

Hayden is now everyone's favorite person to be around as much as possible. Of course the reason for her popularity is everyone is doing their best to make sure Hayden stays safe as it appears someone is out to get her.

On top of this, a ghostly older man who likes to camp and has to power to freeze time keeps appearing in order to tell her stories from the long ago past. Hayden has to wonder if these stories have any relevance to what she's involved in. And when she learns the mans true identity, everyone is impressed that she has a most notable new friend.

Meanwhile, the former ferry boat captain's daughter has more information on the woman who disappeared when Hayden was just a couple of days old. It appears she now has a conduit to be a pen pal with her long lost mother who apparently did not know her husband and son were still alive

This is a great story with a few unexpected twist that will keep you on your toes as you try to figure out what's going to happen next.

Fun characters and great chemistry that moves the story along.

I listened to the audio version of this book. The reader was able to portray the fun and excitement of the book. Her character voices worked well with the story. I love a narrator who can make the book come alive, and Emily Goss does just that.

Many fun characters in this series. They all have great chemistry and help to move the story along in a fun and magical way. The relationship between Hayden and Hans continues forward. We finally learn some of the secrets about Destiny Falls, and it’s twin town, Gladstone. The final quarter of the book was extremely satisfying in terms of the mystery and leaves the reader impatiently waiting for book 4.

My review is voluntary and all comments and opinions are my own.

Stories

Hayden is still living in the magical world of Destiny Falls. In this book, she gets some answers to her questions as she visits with an older man who tells her stories about Destiny Falls. I really enjoy Hayden and the other characters in this series. Hayden’s cat, Latifa, is a star all on her own. When she’s not busy getting into mischief with her cat friends, she helps out Hayden from time to time. The story of Hayden’s past and her family is fun and entertaining. And there’s always a mystery along the way. The audiobook was narrated in a way that was easy to listen to and entertaining.
