This man knows and says what is happening in a way that gave me insight into my brain but more importantly how to see what’s in my kids brain.
In truth, I listened as I’ve learned that reading…I can’t comprehend but audiobooks are the jam and I can “read” while I do productive things or play solitaire or blackjack…can y’all readers multitask while you read haha. Reading while driving is not dangerous when there is no book or words.
Lastly. Please, to those born with a slow brain:)
Use correct punctuation. Spell correctly. It’s y’all’s letter system so please use it correctly or don’t get frustrated when the fast brains don’t understand what was so easy for the rest. We don’t have time to learn from those being lazy. We couldn’t be lazy sitting in all those English classes, and the math class that some slow brain added letters to the math (thanks for that math), that y’all aced so now do that nerd stuff you do in real life:)
The English class with the loudly ticking clock. Loud ass teacher shoes in the hallway. Candy wrappers. Lights buzzing. Doors shutting. Announcements. Nonstop distractions on top of teachers telling me not to bounce my legs…I needed that bounce and now I know why.
This book means a lot! Clarity is strength.
Thanks to the author from my heart. Can’t put in words the power this book is for me and for my kid.
Legit Knowledge!

I value that the author is reading his own work. I find it relatively ironic, funny and also endearing that while discussing stimulation and distraction you can hear low frequency repetitive beats initially thought it was music but I am uncertain it seems to be masked by some software noise cancelation.
it doesn't happen often and I am more the content with the recording but I found the irony poetic.
thank you for this knowledge.
I am 28 , I cried the first 3 chapters.

The narration could be better.Any additional comments?
This book is a must read (or listen) if you are dyslexic or know someone that is. Ron Davis, a dyslexic himself, explains dyslexia and how you can learn to overcome reading difficulties.Davis explains that dyslexia is a gift and why some of the most famous and influential people (Einstein, Edison, da Vinci the list goes on and on) have been dyslexic. It is not a coincidence that these successful people were dyslexic, rather they were able to use their gift.
After reading this book, you will understand dyslexia is truly gift!
