Gabby was your average nine-year-old girl. She loved playing princess and castles, she loved taking baths, and she never wanted to listen. Her mommy would say her voice went in one ear and out the other when she told Gabby anything. Despite this, Gabby still wouldn't listen to her mommy and would want to play or do other things that her mommy would tell her not to do.
"Gabby, don't eat any of the cookies. You need to eat dinner first." She still ate the cookies.
"Gabby, I need you to clean your room before your grandma gets here." Her room was still a mess, and things were shoved underneath her bed.
"Gabby, you need to finish your homework before you go outside." Homework wasn't done until after she came inside, and so she had to stay up late to finish.
