Not your typical tragic thriller!

I don't usually write reviews. I will rate books but this is the first time I've actually written a review. I had to, for this book because it was so incredible! It starts out making you feel like you know everything that's going on, and may even seem, to some, to be another book about a broken woman and the tragic experiences she's had. Don't let that dissuade you, though because you quickly discover that there's a bit more to what's happening than meets the eye, (or ear if you're listening to it). I also liked the fact that it doesn't have the typical ending, with everyone happily riding off into the sunset, not to spoil it and say it has a sad ending because it doesn't. Trust me, this book is worth the money or credit or whatever! I love Imogen Church's narration, which is actually the reason I bought it to begin with. The man, can't remember his name, I wasn't that crazy about. He has a great narrator's voice, but something about the way he read just didn't settle right with me. I actually stopped listening for a while when it got to his part. I picked it back up a few weeks later and I'm so glad I did!

I just can’t...

No dialogue yet, just a lot of boring ramblings in the narration changes between the hyper-perky American woman, and robotic sounding American man. Where is Imogen Church? I bought this novel to hear her read it. Sorry, I can’t endure anymore of this vacuous ear abuse. I’m returning this one.
