Publisher's summary

It’s easy to believe in ancient myths - but the truth is far more deadly.

The quest to save the Oracle forces Team BBB to split up: one group heads to the top of an ancient mountain, the other into the depths of a haunted jungle.

For Hannah, it’s an all out fight that pushes her magic to the limits, while Karl is tasked with something far more challenging - diplomacy.

Both groups will need to depend on the strength of their teammates, while cautiously navigating the cultures and practices of strange, new inhabitants of the furthest reaches of the world. If the Bitch and Bastard Brigade succeeds, they will have the tools they need to save Irth.

Fail, and all is lost.

Or as Aysa puts it: Nothing I can’t handle with one arm tied behind my back.

Join Hannah and the crew as they encounter The Gods Beneath.

Cuckoos

That's the only way to describe the fake Gods. Obviously they had mental powers, but were crazy as a hatter as well. Seriously, drink the blood and eat the flesh? Wow.
Great story

Seeing everyone in there own situations is so awesome. It's nice to see each of them doing there own things.

Continuing the great story

I’m still really enjoying this series.

As Hannah and the BBB continue in their quest to save the world, their adventures are never ending, and also never boring. The action, wit and sass keeps me entertained and amused.

Ugh

I say that only because I have so overly enjoyed these books and I want more. But I need to be productive before picking my kids up from school. This is my second set of books (age and rise of magic) and I just need more!!!

Splitting

I love the split story, but I loved the depth Gregory finally got as well as Carl (finding the princess). When the princess cried for his descent, so did I. they all deserve their own limelight. they're written so well. I listen to books at work all day, and these have had me hooked. I look forward to so many more.

The Gods Beneath: The Rise of Magic, Book 7

Karl dancing. I think that was what made this book so great. Karl is still my favorite.
The BBB is split into 2 groups for part of this book, Hannah, Sal, Parker, Laurel need to find the tech by going through the jungle and Gregory, Karl, Aysa, and Hadley are hunting crystals in the mountains. Both groups are equally in danger for different reasons. Some of the twists I didn’t see coming! Especially the “gods” – that was really a surprise and… well – I can’t think of a words I want to use without giving anything away. I really like meeting new characters and hope there is more of Vitali of the Lynqi in the next book.

This series keeps getting better and better.

This series just keeps getting better. This has been my favorite book in the series. I finally have some answers. I love the main character Hannah however all the other characters are awesome as well! I like how the two groups completed their task and came back together. I would not want to see them split up permanently!

The Gods Beneath

My first thought is that the story was good.
My second is that the story was short.
My third is that while I’m peeved by this, I can understand the need to break up the story this way, but it was just too short.

Again it was good, no problems with the story or how it was presented, character split story or not whatever makes no difference as long as the main has a part do we stay in touch its all good.

The length was an issue for me though.

The performance by Rudd was great.
