a delightful finish to a great trilogy. I honestly can't recommend this series enough. I don't want to give any spoilers, so I'll avoid specifics. it's was a thrill from start to finish, with multiple compelling villains, excellent character development, and every subplot tying beautifully into the main storyline.

Just generally enjoyed the book. The main characters I think were all great in a verity of different ways.

I really liked the aspect that people sometimes think just making one horrible choice might just be bad once but it can snowball and end up ruining everything. The big story line I took from this is you should really consider your decision because in the end it might not just effect you.

I really liked the narrator but the choice of Orion’s voice was off to me.

If you like slightly dark coming of age stories and the idea of a snarky, melodramatic witch with anger management issues that could destroy all the enclaves in the world, then this series is for you! I loved it. I could not predict some of the plot twists, the narrator is fantastic, and although the ending was a bit too wrapped up (better than the cliff hangers) it is a great series. I’ve read some of Naomi Novik’s other books (Spinning Silver was great) and she’s now one of my favorite authors. I’ve definitely binge listened to this last book in the series!

It is definitely not an expected ending, but oh my gosh it ties bits in from all across the series. Aside from having a third book, it still would beat Rothfuss' work just with the character building and language and key world building that you knew all along but it finally connected by just a well placed word. I love it! Wonderful narrator as well. Oh, and props to bisexual and polyamorous representation.

I loved it! I loved the characters and their story. I can't wait to listen to more by this author. The narration was excellent also.

Novak is brilliant. Just brilliant. I'd looked forward to this conclusion and all of El's biting, furiously unstoppable personality. I wasn't even a smidge disappointed. I finished the book in record time and then had to go back to relisten to the whole series to catch all the clues that I couldn't have known were clues until the end. I love that in a good series; absolutely love it.

I didn't know going into this series it would be SCP adjacent, but here we are. SCP-055, the self keeping secret, at the heart of the story.

I thought the ending was great. Lots of surprises and it does a good job of finishing up all the big story threads. If the romance was the big pull you may be disappointed; however, it is important to note that this is not a romance novel. It is a story about El. Go in expecting that and you will hopefully enjoy it.
