Fun refresher trivia

Fun snippets to refresh your brain on trivia. There were a couple that we’re slightly off but most all were accurate. One answer said “Richard” Kyosaka but it’s Robert. Minor detail on that one. Overall a quick fun listen and you will learn something along the way.

Fun For the Whole Family

Very fun and education audio book. Do not go into this expecting anecdotes, this is just questions and answers done for the sake of playing a trivia game. It is well produced and the narrator did a great job. The questions and facts were well researched and of a great variety.
If you enjoy just listening to random facts about people, places and history, this is definitely for you. I listened to the entire book in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I requested a review copy of this audio book and I am leaving a voluntary and honest review.

Fun and educational!!!

This is a fun book. There are a variety of topics and they are mixed up so we don't get quizzed by topics. We can go from "who sings this song" to "what city is this". Some were easy for me and some I didn't have any idea. Rob Maxwell was super as the narrator for this book. He would ask a question, take a few seconds for me to think and then give me the answer. I loved it; it's both fun and educational. A must have for trivia lovers! I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

Not my favorite

I expected a more expressive narrator. For me it was just too monotone.

Trivia Q&A is perfect for so many things

This is my third trivia book from author Bill O'Neill. I much prefer the Q&A format vs. a narrative. The Q&A format creates an interactive listening experience whether solo, in the car with family, game night with friends, or flexing your memory muscles.

The trivia on this ranges across all topics and all eras so something for everyone. I liked that there was current (2018) trivia because it engaged my kids. There were facts they knew that I did not, and we had fun laughing about some of our extremely wild guesses.

The author does a great job of writing detailed trivia questions, usually includes 2-3 elements, so it's more than just a simple question. While it's fun to take a guess, it's also a learning experiencing. I found there to be lots of little known facts which held my interest.

Rob Maxwell does an outstanding job narrating this audiobook. He's funny, warm, clear to understand and personable. He sounded like a game show host.

Five stars for this great trivia book!

Fun trivia game to play with friends

This is the first time I've seen an interactive Audiobook and it was really fun to listen to and play along with. I like how you can play with friends or by yourself and really enjoyed the bits of information after each question.

I was given this Audiobook for free in exchange for an honest review.

Fun stuff

Would've liked a bit more info after the questions but pretty fun. Sometimes presented in a too obvious fashion. Also noticed a few typos or mis pronunciations. One that sticks out was a star wars question about emperor Palpatine.

A Fan

Let me admit right up front that I’m a fan of Bill O’Neill’s trivia books. “Pub” is my fourth of Bill’s books and it did not disappoint. This format is a little different and at first I was a little put off by it but, in the end I rose to the challenge! Instead of categorizing the questions --- Sports, Movies, Geography, etc. --- the questions are randomly sequenced which keeps you on your toes. This is also a much more “conversational” book in that it is in a question-and-answer format whereas Bill’s other books review the background of a topic and then ask the questions. Again, I warmed up to the format.

And Rob Maxwell does a great job in almost an emcee fashion.

All-in-all, I highly recommend “The Great Book of Pub Trivia”.

Too basic

If you have a relatively broad knowledge of the world, this set of trivia questions will be too basic for you.

Narrator Mispronounces Multiple Things

I was really excited for this, since I love Trivia, but I cannot trust the validity of these answers because there were a few mistakes that I heard. Also, the narrator kept mispronouncing really common words, or names of popular characters. It was very odd that he wouldn’t look up the pronunciations beforehand, and it took away from my enjoyment of this.
