About this listen
A double murder in paradise. A scandal-ridden syndicate. Will investigating this once-in-a-lifetime story get her killed?
Despite her success, Kate O’Sullivan worries she’s not cut out for hard-nosed reporting. When the pregnant journalist investigates brutal murders on a tropical isle, she suspects dirty money and an ocean worth of danger. After locals offer dire warnings, she fears this story may be the last one she ever writes....
Only one woman makes assassin Doug Hunter want to mend his bloody ways. So when he hears Kate may be carrying his child, he tracks her to the lush island to try to win her back. But after the beautiful reporter disappears, he uses every last one of his ruthless skills to keep the woman he loves alive.
As Kate and Doug become high-value targets for a billion-dollar syndicate, they discover that brutal human traffickers won’t think twice about pulling the trigger....
Can they expose the corruption and save innocent lives before they turn the beach into a burial ground?
The Hunter: International Crime Thriller is the second stand-alone novel in the riveting Hack trilogy. If you like heroic reporters, international conspiracies, and pulse-pounding action, then you’ll love Will Patching’s gripping novel.

As the freedom she’s longed for turns to little more than imprisonment, her deadly skill set, forged and honed behind the Iron Curtain, is the only key that can possibly unshackle her. A late-night vigilante mission under the veil of darkness turns from vendetta to entrapment in an instant. What should’ve been a mission to right decades-old injustices becomes a deadly encounter with federal agents.
