About this listen

Chilling initiations. Big banks and money manipulations. Possible links to the Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Adamses, and Bushes. Reviewing the evidence, documents, and connections, The Illuminati: The Secret Society That Hijacked the World by award-winning journalist and author Jim Marrs shines a light on the history, workings, continuing influence, and pernicious and hidden power of this secret order.

Surveying experts - from those who dismiss the Illuminati as a short-lived group of little consequence to skeptics who dare question the government's accounts and pronouncements - Marrs cuts through the wild speculation and the attempts to silence critical thinkers to tell the true story of this secret cabal. He investigates their origin as "The Ancient and Illuminated Seers of Bavaria", the depiction on the United States one-dollar bill of an all-seeing eye and pyramid on the reverse of the Great Seal of the United States, the Protocols - or procedures - for usurping national governments and gaining world domination, the symbolism found in today's international corporate logos, Knights Templar, assassins, Skull and Bones, whistle blowers, the revolutions in France, Russia, and America, and much, much more.

May need to give another listen

The reader sounded a little stilted but he as clear and sometimes concise. There was some replication of information, though. If you are a conspiracy theorist, this may be of interest. Author did present some new information.

Revealing

This study sheds light on this dark ancient tradition and how they have influenced Humanity's fate for their benefit.
A bit repetitive but it's worth the time to listen.

Lengthy book that covers a lot of material.

This book covers a lot of material and doesn't spend as much time validating it as presenting it. Some of the material is outlandish, and Marrs includes it. I assume he did this to show completeness.

The book was VERY interesting in how it linked so many different groups to historical groups that pre-dated the Illuminati created in 1776. I especially appreciated the presentation of material outlining the role conspiratorial groups played in the French Revolution and the reign of terror.

Surprisingly Wide Ranging, informative, and Weird

There’s something really surreal about this book. But it’s really good, entertaining, occasionally problematic. I’m actually shocked that this book is allowed on Audible, but if you’re into the subject, this is almost a one-stop-shop.

Very interesting. It makes you go hmmmm.

It was entertaining to think how history connects with secret societies. I will have to read the different books, articles the author talks about. I can see heading down the rabbit hole investigating!

narration was kinda bland and emotionless.

Very Interesting, It seems that here in kinds card to consciousness is expanding in growing and soon there will be no more rocks and crevices for these Illuminati folks to hide we will be able to see everything that they do and plan in the open and we will be able to stop them. Their time is limited. Narration could have been better if it just had a little bit of emotion behind it it was somewhat monotone.

Interesting

Is it real, fake, fantasy?
I found this book very interesting.
Facts about our history that is not told in our mainstream history books.
One must study for itself and find the clues.

Very well researched and written

What amazed me was the extensive research this author has gone to to write this book. It also gave me some references of other very interesting material. I just loved how the author tied everything together with so much interesting historical and recent facts and topics that ties the secret societies to so many things.
