I loved the first book and I am glad to say that the author does not disappoint with this one. I love the plot and the characters.

This book was really good. In my opinion, it was not as good as the first one. But I did like the way the author transitioned into the second book. The narration was also awesome! I have no complaints. I do hope that Marlene continues with these books. If she keeps writing them, I'll keep reading (listening to) them.

I absolutely loved it! The narration was superb and gave the story that extra flair! The author did an excellent job with the character builds and plot. I read the first book (The Unsuspecting Witch) and enjoyed it as well. I look forward to reading more books by this author! I enjoyed the first book “The Unsuspecting Witch” and this second book does not disappoint. The story is well written and grabbed my attention from beginning to conclusion. The story starts off where book one ended with everyone in blissful ignorance of what happened the past several months.

Narration was well done and brought the story to life.

Our heroine is quite clever and she will notice discrepancies here and there. Her sense of adventure and discovery gets her into trouble a lot.
Although magic has been forgotten, it seeps into her life without her even noticing it.

I’m looking forward to continuing the adventures with the next book.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This one was just as good as the first. The story was different and so good. I love it. The narrator is still awesome! I would read more by both the author and narrator.
