About this listen

In JFK Assassination Chokeholds, listeners will find up to date evidence that would have compelled any jury to conclude that Oswald was not guilty beyond reasonable doubt, and that there is clear and convincing evidence of both a conspiracy and obstruction of justice to cover it up.

The approach taken by the contributors in this anthology, three of whom are attorneys complemented by two of the leading authorities in the field, focuses on sixty years of revelations that have been inescapably proven. There is no way around these matters, making them argumentative “chokeholds.”

The next time a historian, teacher, author or Warren Commission backer pushes the lone-nut assassin scenario, the listener will be able to counter with troubling questions, such as: Why was Oswald impersonated? Why did Ruby receive assistance in murdering Oswald? Why do an overwhelming number of investigation insiders not believe the Warren Commission conclusions? How can one explain the scandalous shenanigans around JFK’s brain and the chain of custody for CE 399? And many other inexplicable facts that are a matter of record.

On November 22, 1963, the world took a turn for the worse. JFK and everything he stood for was cruelly taken away from us. Hopefully the truth can help pave the way for a new direction.

Better In Print Than As An Audiobook

The book is well-written, and comprehensive, and provides a lot of great current information on JFK's assassination. I have no regrets buying it, and the authors make their points well. If you've never read any other JFK assassination book and still wonder if LHO acted alone, this book proves that he did not and also proves there was not only a conspiracy but also a cover-up by the U.S. Government. If he had gone to trial, he would have been acquitted. If all of the evidence had been presented, there was no way any fair and impartial jury could have found him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. The evidence didn't support his guilt. He may have been involved in some conspiracy (most likely unknowingly), but there is no way he killed the president from the TSBD. As has been known for decades now, there was a shooter on the grassy knoll and the fatal heads shot came from the front right of JFK, not from the rear right where the TSBD was located.

Unfortunately, I believe this book loses much of its impact as an audiobook compared to a print book. There are so many acronyms, footnotes, lists, names, agencies, and links to other documents and sites that it doesn't flow well when narrated. There is a lot of mumbo jumbo due to the endless citations that are optional for the reader when the book is read compared to when it is being narrated to a listener.

One critique of the narrator. For some odd reason, he emphasizes each separate letter of a government agency acronym making his pronunciation sound like an AI narrator. For example, the CIA is read by the narrator as C (pause) I - A and the FBI is read as F (pause) B - I. Believe me, these two agencies are listed in the book well over a thousand times each over 12 hours so it becomes quite annoying. It is also read this way with the countless other acronyms mentioned such as ARRB, HSCA, FPCC, etc. There are routine unusual pauses in between the letters of acronyms.

Bottom line: I highly recommend the book, but buy the hard-cover edition as opposed to the audiobook.

All evidence , Less speculation

Totally enjoyed this book! .. I love the fact that it provided 98% facts about the person’s, witnesses, and agencies involved in the investigations as well as provided a ton of information about the continued governmental battle to conceal the truth for the past 60 years.
