This was the first title for me by this author, a very pleasant surprise. It seemed slow for awhile, nothing specific happened for quite a while. But, still, it kept my interest throughout. I kept listening at every chance I had, and finished it within a few days. Then the pace accelerated, and continued to the end. An interesting and compelling cast of characters, with Ava at the center of the story. The narration was excellent, perfectly suited to the story.

Good throughout, and a satisfying well done ending. I plan to listen to more by this author. (I've already added another to my library to start listening to today.)

i'm always seeking more by Valerie Keogh and Rose Robinson. This again, proves why. Keogh's creative writing skills go aboivetve and beyond. As always, Rose Robinson's narrative is perfectly precise. I'm happy to say I have a treasured collection by these two exquisitely talented woman. "The Librarian" is extremely audictive and kept me craving more. Highly recommended and worthy of an Audible credit; I lucked out and found this gem in the sale section for $2.35. epic, indeed! If you're like me and a #1 fan of British psychological thrillers, "The Librarian" is a deliciously devious must-listen.
