Publisher's summary

Irenaeus was an early Christian writer who gives us great insight into primitive Christian theology and doctrine. His words are wise and filled with the grace of God. Truly an important father of the faith, many Christians today are ignorant of his works and of other early Christians like him. This piece of literature is actually a collection of fragments from his writings that have been found. The hungry soul should be truly blessed while listening to this marvelous book by such a great man of God!

Dispatch from 2nd Century

It’s amazing to me that anyone could not comprehend or believe that Jesus Christ lived, died, and rose again When the writings of church leaders from the first and second centuries support everything we know about the life and resurrection of Christ. If anybody would have dispute with the facts of his life and resurrection it would be the first and second century leaders. Everything that they have for passed on to us supports the biblical record fully in 100%.

Iranaeus is the man

Close to the source of the apostolic teaching for sure. Good to consider him today.

Southern accent, if that matters to you

I live in the Midwestern United States, so I'm not used to hearing southern accents. As such, the narrator's accent made it difficult for me to focus. I imagine that a Southerner may not have this difficulty, so my rating is highly subjective.

The narrators voice posses an southern accent

Not much of a usable source for citation or teaching but it was well read despite the narrators accent.
