About this listen
When we last left our adventurers, the massive ball of death was massively balling toward the certain death of all Bersch’s inhabitants. The secret to stopping the destruction and saving the world - if it should, indeed, be saved - is hidden away deep in the desert sands. Joining their crew is the slightly crazy, time/space traveling professor who also happens to be Xharon’s daddy. And who also happens to really want her to wear more than just her knickers, much to Bip’s dismay. But, back to the tale! Bip and his crew must race against the clock to unearth the secret weapon before the mad emperor can use it for total galactic annihilation. Will our brave adventurers beat the clock?

Great ending!!
Fantastic end to the story!! Loved the series!! Check out Steve Wetherell's other books and the podcast he's part of - Authors and Dragons! They have a fun series, too: Shingles!!

Delicious Listening Cake
A great conclusion to a trilogy you already know is good if you're up to book three.
You did good, Steve. <3
And seriously - major kudos to CC Hogan for not only getting this completed so quickly, but for doing a fantastic job in the face of some of the sheer gibberish he's had to pronounce.

Loved the whole thing, this final volume included
In my review of the first book I suggested the comparisons of Mr. Wetherell's writing to Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett were deserved. I maintain that opinion and wish he'd find space and time to write more, to build another world for us.
I binge-listened to all three volumes of the Doomsayer Journeys and enjoyed every minute. This final volume is entirely satisfying as a conclusion to the trilogy and doesn't lack for all the wit, action, adventure, and characterization of the first two. If you're checking out reviews of the last book to see if the series is worth it (which is something I often do) I really encourage you to give this a try. You won't regret it.

A great ending to a fantastic trilogy, some of the absolute best fantasy humor around.

If I had a complaint....
So I like this series and book 3 delivered on what I like about it, however the narrator sounds like a gangster from a Guy Ritchie film. WHICH IS AWESOME. But I found myself paying attention to the way CC Hogan speaks rather than what he was saying on several occasions through all 3 books.
So my complaint is that this audio series has too much of a good thing. If that’s even really a complaint.

A proper ending
Very smart writing in this one. I really enjoy the way all the loose ends were tied up, giving you what you want while still holding back enough to keep it's integrity. Absolutely loved the ending!!!
