Secrets. Lies. Murder. Let the festivities begin…

It’s the opening night of The Manor, the newest and hottest luxury resort, and no expense, small or large, has been spared. The infinity pool sparkles; the “Manor Mule” cocktail (grapefruit, ginger, vodka, and a dash of CBD oil) is being poured with a heavy hand. Everyone is wearing linen.

But under the burning midsummer sun, darkness stirs. Old friends and enemies circulate among the guests. Just outside the Manor’s immaculately kept grounds, an ancient forest bristles with secrets. And it’s not too long before the local police are called. Turns out the past has crashed the party, with deadly results.

THE GIRLBOSS · THE HUSBAND · THE KITCHEN HELP · THE MYSTERY GUEST

Everyone’s got a secret. Everyone’s got an agenda. But not everyone will survive…The Midnight Feast

Queen of plot twists

What you see coming, it's only the tip of the iceberg, and you only see it right before it's revealed. She keeps you guessing even when you know you're being shown suspects and not the killer. Lucy Foley outdoes herself each time, yet worries she's lost her ability every time she starts a new book. I am in awe and forever impatient for the next one as soon as I finish the current one. The voice cast is quite talented and create atmosphere with just intonation; authenticity with accent or a tweak of enunciation. I listened through in three days. BRAVO!

Another Great One from Lucy Foley

This book doesn’t come together until the end . I did enjoy it though. I guessed some parts of it but other parts were a surprise. An enjoyable read for mystery lovers.

Loved it.

Spooky, clever, and with a touch of class warfare. I didn’t want it to end.

Absolutely worth the wait!!

OMGGG!! All the delicious reveals!
I’ve never cried listening to a book. Ever!!
This was so well done. And with very real scenarios of how lives can be long term destroyed, due to trauma experienced at a young age. Can’t wait for the next one. Bravo Ms. Foley!

Really excellent entertainment

The story was modern but had so much historical aspects that it gave it a gothic like vibe. I couldn’t stop listening. The mystery was great. I was unsure until the end.

Twists and Reveals

The Midnight Feast is a fantastic story full of twists and reveals. The setting is easily visualized and excellent for this story.

I loved the multiple POVs that gave insight into the story from different unique perspectives. Figuring out how the different POVs were important to the story was part of the fun as a reader. I especially loved how the backstories of each character contributed to how they ended up all in the same place at the same time.

This is a well written, perfectly woven story. I definitely recommend!

The audiobook was fantastic, with the different POVs performed by different narrators.

Can’t go wrong with a Lucy Foley Book

I always like her writing. This was little different because it address so rape and sexual assault themes. It was a little pop culturey could have done without certain references that will be dated at some point. The setting and characters were interesting but I wish Owen had more of ending than what he was given. Also certain people like Jake referred to Allison as Bella which seems like a plot hole. I think he would have known her by her actual name

Just ok

I am a big Lucy Foley fan and have loved all of her books. But this one didn’t do it for me. I found it slow and very hard to care about the story or characters. I’m not sure why, but it was just uninteresting to me. The end was fine and brought the pieces together. But it’s forgettable.
