Renegade was the first book I had ever read by Laramie Briscoe. I enjoyed it so much I went on a bender of all of her books. The fact that these amazing stories are in a bundle made me happy so here I am after a Moonshine Taskforce journey once again. I absolutely loved, adored and enjoyed everything about these stories.

It’s interesting how my reading tastes and opinions change over time. I read this series and loved it. When I saw I could get the first three books in an audiobook, I had to have it. I still love the first book, liked the second but didn’t enjoy the third this time around.

First, I know my opinion isn’t the norm but I am NOT a fan of dual narration, especially when it’s dual between male and female. No character has the same voice because it changes depending on the point of view. A skilled narrator is much better than dual narration. I think the female narrator could have narrated this whole book successfully. She had a good range of characters. Just the combination of the two sucked 🤷🏼‍♀️
