Publisher's summary

It’s one year later, and a lot has changed.

Audiobook superfan Vera is “in the industry” now, and Cameron is not so sure he’s onboard. Jennifer has rocketed to narrator fame, but not everyone is comfortable with her newfound status. Neil and Georgia are happily married, but their HEA is wreaking havoc on her writing career. With the Audie Awards just around the corner, all these tensions are higher than ever. But you know who’s feeling just fine?

The Narwhal. Because the Narwhal...is in love.

I was just part of the Romance World’s best inside jokes! So funny!!!

The first play in this series felt like such a treat. This one is a comedic masterpiece. It feels like you are part of so many inside jokes: romance social media, romance audio personalities, writing process, narrators roles, Audies, being a romance reader, etc. If you participate at all in the social media romance community, it adds another layer of comedy to the already hilarious play. Without that, I think it is still some really fantastic, out there, kind of zany characters, and a really funny story. I don’t think I will ever be able to read the term “M/M” the same way again! Or the Lord’s Work. Or Susan Lucci. Analgesic. The name Jerry. The moments go on and on.

Now the sound editing on this is so good and really enhanced the production. It felt like the sounds happening on stage during a live play. I felt like I could close my eyes and see the whole story play out. And the narration. Come on!! All such fantastic roles and acting in those roles. Top notch, some of my favorite work by these narrators. I love hearing them do comedy! Thank you Erin for such a wonderful production!!

Funny bits!

These Walls Can Talk, Book 2
By: Erin Mallon, Writer
Narrated by: Joe Arden, Andi Arndt, Shane East, Tanya Eby, Teddy Hamilton, Erin Mallon, Maxine Mitchell, Emma Wilder

Need a refreshing laugh or just something to bring out an audio play into giggles. This is it. I love how we go on a journey of an audiobook narrator’s struggles and how to deal with it. It’s even better when all your friends are also audiobook narrators & writers. This group of friends are quite unique and quirky people! So many funny banters, one-liners, many romance and sexual innuendo moments, and what a true friendship develops among them (this development is during the party & games night). Yup, this audio play is pure magic with unicorn, horn, and rainbows. I believe it’s best to read book 1 and then, book 2 in order to get the full effect of this little hilarious bunch!

Hilarious fun!

Another installment of hysterical fun from Erin. I can not stop laughing at this story and the narration from this cast never fails to amaze me. I loved the introduction of the new characters and Maxine Mitchell and Erin Mallon did an amazing job with the narration. If you need a laugh this series of audio plays will do it for you.

Delightful from start to finish!

You just can't lose with this talented cast and Erin Mallon's writing! My only complaint is that I wish it was longer, so not really a complaint, more like a hopeful plea for more.

May I have some more please?!

I wasn’t sure Erin Mallon could top the first These Walls Can Talk but The Narwhal Strikes Back completely delivered and then some! From the many, many times that I was laughing out loud to the gentle tug on my heartstrings, I must say that the only thing lacking in this perfectly charming story was the length. I could listen to hours and hours and hours of this incredible cast of narrators combined with Erin’s wickedly sharp humor and beautifully subtle expression of her character’s humanity and the growth of their relationships throughout the two stories. Bravo to everyone involved in this project and I will be anxiously awaiting TWCT3!!

A fun listen!

Erin Mallon is as good an author as she is a narrator. These written for audio stories, with all the different narrator's, are fun to listen to.
