To his credit, Coach “Gymnasty” is one of the most renowned, successful, and sought-after gymnastics coaches in the country. He has a twenty-year reputation for churning out champions who typically wind up with more gold around their necks than Queen Mary. Alas, he also has a rather dubious reputation for being a coach who takes “hands-on training” to the most lecherous levels imaginable.

But no one can doubt his legacy of success. His students may not approve of his dirty-minded methods, nor his audacious hands. But if any of them have dreams of someday having Olympic gold around their necks, he’s the coach to call.
If, that is, they can meet his stringent acceptance criteria. First, they need to be top-level contenders. Dennis has neither the time, the desire, nor the patience to work with anyone less. Second, they need to have the “goods,” as he knows full-well the main reason that half of the people who watch gymnastics—the men—even bother to show up.
And it isn’t the girls’ perfect dismounts or their flawless tumbling runs!

Speaking of acceptance criteria: He also refuses to work with anyone under the age of eighteen.
Why? Well, he says it’s because he wants only the most seasoned athletes—and those who have perhaps only one more chance to make it to the Olympics. Face it: In this business, if you’re over eighteen, you’re nearing the end of your shelf-life—and Dennis Collymore is quite possibly your last hope.
