When Laura Fry returns to her childhood home to care for her invalid mother, she hopes the writer’s block that has swallowed her writing career will disappear. I read the book a few years back. As any Gerri Hill fan, I always get her books as soon as they are out. I loved the book when I read it and although I am not a big Nicol Zanzarella fan, I always think her narration is pretty monotone, it's sometimes hard to distinguish the different characters. But I gotta give it to her for this one, she actually did a good job. This audiobook was better than I expected.

It was a fun, light romance. I laughed a lot which isn't something I usually do when listening to or reading romances but that was a good thing. I liked the characters so I moved past ther things I didn't like. over all it was a good story.

These are simply delightful people to spend time with and the setting of living next door to one another creates warmth and familiarity. Character development is real and the genuine feelings that grow over time are so endearing! The intimacy is true intimacy, therefore so much more intense and passionate than a romp in the sack.

Have lost count of how many times I’ve listen to this book, laughed out loud and been in awe of the beauty of unfolding love. And Laura’s mother is a HOOT!

I loved this audiobook. the story wasn't too complex, but it was definitely a good listen. I loved both characters (although one of them took longer to like). Gerri Hill writes amazing books and Nicol Zanzarella easily narrates, so you can't be let down with the Neighbor.

There are so few lesbian romance novels to choose from on Audible Escapes. Gerri Hill is one of the few prolific authors. But her stories always are a bit out of touch. This was a nice story but the body shaming was troublesome.

Narrator was okay, a little too breathy for my taste.

leaves me wanting more, I loved it . I'm so glad these books are coming out or out of the closet I should say. great storyline great ending what more can you ask for.

Gerri Hill understands how to hold your attention and always has likeable characters. This book falls in line with her others, interesting, sasey, flirty, sexy and heartfelt. This particular book left me with such a good feeling. The ensing was written perfectly, not leaving me to wonder what happened next.

Excellent read if you are looking for a getaway that steals your attention and your heart the point of calling into to work just to finish the book.
