About this listen
Audible Read-Along Version Includes Bonus Instructions for Kids and Connection Questions
Ease the hearts and minds of children who have recently moved with this delightful modern twist on the classic Christmas story, which teaches kids that true joy doesn't come from getting gifts.
Oh no! Will Santa know that we’ve moved?
If you have moved house in the last year and have young children, no doubt this is a question you have heard.
But how do you answer this question?
The excitement of Santa is wonderful, but is Christmas really just about getting presents?
With the commercialism of Christmas in recent decades, many parents wonder if all of this gift-giving is teaching our children that happiness and joy come from things. The classic Christmas poem we all have grown to love now has a modern twist that parents and children will enjoy hearing again and again. The delightful and heartwarming message shares the spirit of St. Nick for modern times and helps kids understand that true joy doesn't come from presents under the tree. Feel good teaching your child that Christmas means more than nice gifts and good cheer.
It’s also about sharing and caring and giving our love.
PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Story
From working as clerks and secretaries in the 1950s, women today are now holding top positions in the world’s largest corporations. Yet women remain vastly underrepresented in leadership roles, making up only 5 percent of Fortune 500 CEOs and 10 percent of top management positions in S&P 1500 companies, despite accounting for 47 percent of the labor workforce. The reason for this has nothing to do with intelligence, skills, or personality. Biases, gender expectations, and discrimination are definitely major contributing factors.

Famous three-time Grand Slam winner Arthur Ashe pointed out that many in sports fall victim to “paralysis by analysis”. Athletes on any level can experience the pain of overthinking and sabotaging their performance. Blame many traditional methods of teaching and training. How can we train smarter, not harder? If only our body and mind could perform in a way that’s more natural and instinctive. The best athletes have this quality, but many feel it is simply unattainable for them. I assure you it is not.

As full of excitement and the unexpected as his world-famous, best-selling books, Roald Dahl's tales of his own childhood are completely fascinating and fiendishly funny. Did you know that Roald Dahl nearly lost his nose in a car accident? Or that he was once a chocolate candy tester for Cadbury's? Have you heard about his involvement in the Great Mouse Plot of 1924? If not, you don’t yet know all there is to know about Roald Dahl.

It’s two months before Amelia’s big audition for the Mystwick School of Musicraft. If she gets in, she will learn to spin music into powerful magic - but her Gran has one last-ditch plan to persuade her out of it: sports camp. A week of softball, sprinting, and sweaty socks isn't exactly Amelia’s idea of a good time - in fact, she's deeply, appallingly unathletic. By the end of day one, she’s puked her guts out in track, gotten a black eye in no-contact flag football, and firmly established herself as the Least Valuable Player at camp.

Story
Sam Hill always saw the world through different eyes. Born with red pupils, he was called “Devil Boy” or Sam “Hell” by his classmates; “God’s will” is what his mother called his ocular albinism. Her words were of little comfort, but Sam persevered. Sam believed it was God who sent Ernie Cantwell, the only African American kid in his class, to be the friend he so desperately needed. And that it was God’s idea for Mickie Kennedy to storm into Our Lady of Mercy like a tornado, uprooting every rule Sam had been taught about boys and girls. Forty years later, Sam, a small-town eye doctor, is no longer certain anything was by design.

Story
Mary Lennox starts her life as an unhappy victim of circumstance. After the loss of her parents, she moves to rural Yorkshire to live with a distant uncle where she resents the wildness of the countryside. At first, she struggles to find a place in this new existence. Although unsure about her surroundings and its occupants, through the gentle guidance of the maid she gradually becomes interested in the story of Mrs Craven, who apparently used to spend her time in a garden at the house, the key to which has vanished.

Must have for Christmas!
This is an absolutely delightful audiobook. I highly recommend getting the print or eBook too so your child can read along and see the impressive illustrations while listening to the enchanting audiobook. The narrator has a charming voice like Julie Andrews and each character in the book (the kids, the parents and even Santa) has their own narrator. I loved hearing the kid’s laughter. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed listening to an audiobook as much as I have with this one. The author even includes some “Connection Questions” at the end to facilitate conversation with your kids. This is a professionally produced audiobook – a must have for your family and an excellent gift any child you know.

What a Delight!
This book is proof that there is always room for new Christmas traditions. I almost felt transported back to that time as a kid when I was listening to British actors on the radio play out a radio drama, complete with music and sound effects.
The writing is clever with a simple, pragmatic premise that a child would consider: I've moved...how will Santa find me?! The rhymes are lovely, and the voices are fun and engaging.
Towards the latter part of the book, the narrator poses questions to the child (ex. "What are three things that you are thankful for this Christmas?") and then provides some time for the child to answer. Even more importantly, the author reinforces their answer by saying, "When you are thankful, that's when you are being your true self." Awwe! I love that. It reinforces the idea that joy does not come from presents but from the inside.
In a world that idolizes things and too often with Christmas becoming an idol to worship MORE things, this book is a healthy, calm reminder that real joy comes from relationships. The author reinforces that in several places throughout the book.
If you want your child to grow up thinking about the positive impact they can have on the world through building healthy relationships, I recommend this book highly.

Wonderful!
This was such a wonderful book! It put a wide smile on my face. The lesson brought out is a timeless one that needs to be taught and learned by all...the joy of giving. I especially loved the connection questions as they will help kids to think about what they have heard and find ways to connect it to real life. This is a book worth sharing indeed!

Wonderful Story
Wow! such a delightful storybook. This book is perfect for kids. This brought back memories of when I was young and I feared that Santa would be able to find me after we moved to a new place. I slept thinking about it, and in the morning I got the present I had wished for. This book contains all the answers to your kids' questions about Christmas. This will teach kids that Christmas is not just about presents, it’s more than that. Recommended!

Just in time for the holidays!
I’ve been looking for a kids bed time story with lush, animated narration and I stumbled across this amazing audiobook. Not only are the 3 narrators fun, there’s music and sound effects that guide my son through its enveloping story one page at a time! And at the end of each page there’s a little *ding* that signals it’s time to turn the page and continue the story.
It’s the little details like those that show the author truly cares.
And one little secret…I’m really trying to keep him away from YouTube and TV. So, I’ll be picking up more audiobooks like this because it’s working…Shhhh

Great for kids
This is a great book for kids, especially if they have moved and they are worried about Santa finding them for Christmas. It shows that Santa will find them wherever they are and can help them realize that Christmas will happen anyway. It is a good reminder also that kids can be worried about things that we as adults don't always think about!

Takes Me Back
This book is fantastic; it took me back to my childhood days, reading the most beautiful Christmas books and reading them to my children when they were young. I Love the book and recommend it to everyone with children, to grandparents, and to nursery and elementary schools.
