About this listen

Alphas don't have heats—except when I "switch" to omega at an all-male alpha academy.

Alphas are taught to take what they want. Or at least that's the motto of the elite alpha academy where I work. My probation is around the corner, and the headmaster has already warned me I don't fit in. But I need this job to prove to my family and my ex that I'm more than just my past mistakes.

Falling for my student is a dangerous complication. But Mattie is a burst of sunshine in my dreary life. He's gorgeous, devoted, and he wants me. Just one smile from my beautiful bet, and I want to be the best alpha I can be.

Until his older brother catches us in the act, and I'm triggered into a switch. My hidden omega nature takes over, hungry for the pack I never had.

Which is how I end up spending a mind-blowing heat with Mattie's brother and his friends. They're the rich and powerful Lyalls, and from the outside, it looks like they have the world at their feet. But they're struggling with their own past mistakes, and I have enough on my plate trying to work out how to be an omega.

As things at the academy spiral downhill, I find myself drawn to this group of mismatched men. Each of them is unique, opening me up to new experiences and speaking to a different part of my soul.

We want each other. We need each other. But learning how to be a pack is going to be the hardest lesson of our lives.

This is the second steamy book in the Billionaires in Heat series but can be listened to as a standalone. It includes all the omegaverse delights of pack bonds, bites, messy heats, and alpha knots and locks. There are no shifters in this story, but there are tropes of a single mum/protective pack and a teacher/student relationship. Intended for mature listeners.

Nailed it again

i am totally in love with this series. the characters all have great personality, are funny and well loveable. the men may have been jerks in the first book. well in the flash backs of the first but their story really changes your mind in this one. you get the full picture of what really went down. no cliffhangers, hot sexy time and a whole lotta love. is funny when the brothers get a bit grossed out at times. you will have to read it to see what im talking about. enjoy!

Listen to preview- the description didn’t do it justice!

I had passed on this book several times because I wasn’t so sure about the idea of a student and teacher relationship- but the story turned out so good! I had already read the first and last story in this series and this one just adds to all that. Highly recommend for both plot and spice!
