This story has been one of my favorites since I was a kid. I loved it sooo much that it was the 1st audible title I ever purchased (for a road trip for my daughter) . . .

I had this book as a book on tape as a child and absolutely Love it! When I saw it on Audible I couldn't resist. I have two daughters that I wanted to introduce to Princess Amy. The Ordinary Princess is a wonderful story. It doesn't really follow the traditional fairy tale story line, but that is what I love best about it! The woman who narrated did a great job! I keep this book downloaded on my phone so I can listen to it anytime. My daughter's love it too!

I love this story. It is a beautiful telling of what would happen if a princess was an ordinary girl. I liked listening to the story but the hard copy version has illustrations that really make the book.

I read this story when I first started reading chapter books, it was a perfect fairy story. Thought of it recently and the voice actor sounds just like the narrator did in my head. And it’s still a perfectly wonderful happy story!

I loved the tale of ordinariness and and kindness, and how it was rewarded by true love, it was so different from The Far Pavillions, but just as well written and compelling.

I like books that adults and children can share. This was not one of them. There is not a lot of depth. It's a simple story. Good for little girls and for building self-esteem.
