I enjoyed reading this book. It was a good thriller and suspenseful. The characters seemed real.

If I could give this book 10 stars, I would.

This dark and disturbing domestic thriller takes "Don't get mad, get even" to exciting new levels.

Diane Jeffrey is one of my go-to authors and, IMHO, this is her best book yet.

The book begins with an accidental hit-and-run.

From there, be prepared to be taken on a wild, twisty, and intense ride.

The book's characterizations were strong and ultra-compelling.

Twists were gasp-worthy and impossible to predict.

From beginning to end, the book was unputdownable.

Although Gabrielle Nellis-Pain did a superb job with the narration, the book would have benefited from two narrators since it unfolded from two POVs.

This is just SO GOOD. The narration with the transition of characters is a little awkward in the beginning, but got better. The twists are just right; nothing is extremely far fetched; feels very well thought out. Thankfully, this also isn’t dripping with excessive social and political messaging or rhetoric, which seems rare. Highly recommend.

Best I’ve heard in a WHILE

This book was fast paced and flat out interesting. It kept you guessing and interested. You will find yourself rooting for both sides, then reminding yourself to not like the bad “guy”. By the time you get to the end it’s so bittersweet.

A lesser of two evils

How far would you go to pursue justice for the murder of your spouse? This book starts off very slowly but about halfway things start to pick up and a new unknown twist is thrown in. Without thinking about the moral dilemma and just going with it the ending is just that - justice served. Smiling mischievously

Narration was great portraying all the character voices and the emotional ranges often needed!!

It is almost exactly the same plot as With Friends Like These (which also stinks)!!!
