About this listen
Deep in the Nevada desert...
...lies a secret futuristic world.
Would Jack's technology save humankind?
It started with Jack's epiphany, but he feared it was a power too great. All around the globe, the oil reserves are dangerously low. Superpowers brace for battle over what remains.
Should Jack share his energy solution?
He thinks it's too dangerous.
The power potential is as important as Prometheus discovering fire and giving it to man. There must be a way to use what he knows, but he's conflicted. Maybe the brilliant mind of Mykl can solve the puzzle?
Mykl is five.
Is the answer worth the cost?
You'll love this Dystopian Science Fiction, because the world building is brilliant, the technology is fascinating, and the story keeps you turning pages. And don't be fooled...
...This isn't for kids.
Get it now.

Dr. Tyson Klein is a quantum physicist who has dedicated his entire life to his research. At CERN, he analyses data generated by the Large Hadron Collider, the world's biggest and most powerful particle accelerator. Now, Ty believes he's found a pattern in its output. It looks like an organised data stream, being broadcast over what he calls a quantum radio. Could it be a signal from another universe? A message sent from the future? Or something else entirely?

Story
This hard sci-fi novel is the first book of the Time-Flow Stories, a series of tales about Witt Ryllin, a young man who abruptly gains the ability to psychically control the flow of time. He sets to work, figuring out how to use his new gift to help his family and perhaps even improve his college prospects. This is far from as easy as he’d first hoped. Through all this he must deal with his sarcastic friend Jesse. A friend who’s sometimes helpful, but at least as often a big part of the problem. Oh, and Witt’s got girl trouble!

Fight, survive, adapt, and rely only on yourself. That is Derek’s creed and what's got him through the System Integration on Earth. Everything changed when the System came. Cute bunnies and beautiful butterflies became savage killing machines. Then the Invaders arrived with a single goal: to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet. War has raged ever since. None of this mattered much to Derek, aside from making living a little more perilous.

Jin Rou wanted to be a cultivator. A man powerful enough to defy the heavens. A master of martial arts. A lord of spiritual power. Unfortunately for him, he died, and now I’m stuck in his body. Arrogant Masters? Heavenly Tribulations? All that violence and bloodshed? Yeah, no thanks. I’m getting out of here. Farm life sounds pretty great. Tilling a field by hand is fun when you’ve got the strength of ten men—though maybe I shouldn’t have fed those Spirit Herbs to my pet rooster.

When Alice Verianna went to sleep, she was just another teen from the Denver suburbs. She definitely didn't expect to be transported to a magical alternate dimension, inhabited by monsters and presided over by a mysterious System. Here, people resemble RPG characters and everyone has access to their own status screens. Grappling with the mechanics of the elusive System isn't the only challenge Alice faces. It seems an underground organization known as the Society of Starry Eyes has taken a particular interest in other dimensions.

Pete is a simple man who enjoys a good drink amongst good friends. Not too much to ask, right? Now, he's trapped in a fantasy world far from home, stuck underground and inside the body of a smelly dwarf with fantastic facial hair. The worst part? The swill that the dwarves are falling all over themselves to drink. It's flat, it's watery, and it has the alcohol content of a rancid coconut. Can Pete save the dwarves from their own sour fate, or will he be forever doomed to plink his pickaxe away in hopes that he hits the motherlode?

Few know the warship’s actual name. But everyone has heard the rumors. The PUV James Keeling can do something no other vessel in existence can do—slip into another dimension, travel undetected, then re-emerge onto our plane and surprise enemy targets. But the thing that makes the Crypt unique also makes it a nightmare for those onboard; interdimensional travel causes hallucinations, violent behavior, and psychotic breakdowns. Keeling could be the Union’s greatest weapon, a game-changing asset that can defeat the bloodthirsty zealots of the Purist Nation, the Union’s mortal enemy.

Compiled by intrepid journalist Neve Pride, this archive of recordings spans the months after dragons emerged on earth, chronicling the communities that sprang up amid the destruction, the scientists, military leaders, and experts searching for a defense, and those steadfastly seeking the missing. Neve and her young daughter Bex travel among the wreckage speaking to those left behind and surviving, against all odds. Neve records everything for history, and in the hopes of locating a clue as to where the dragons came from and how one might stop them.

Brian Partridge leapt at the chance to buy the personal property of his favorite historical author following his death, although what he received was far more than he bargained for. It didn’t take him long to discover just how the author was able to write scenes from the past with such accuracy. Of course, Brian was familiar with time machines in movies, but that was fictional—not real—and yet, before him stood one of his very own. He knew he shouldn’t step inside and turn it on, but the temptation was more than he could bear.

Engaging and thought provoking
Great book filled with end-to-end enjoyment. This is my third pass through, and I still find myself loving it as if it were my first.
The author takes a much-appreciated approach of telling a multi-character story that seamlessly flows together at a fast pace, ultimately leaving you eager to start the next chapter.
In all, this is a fantastic read and perfect for those looking to polish off another great book that starts and ends in a single volume.

Great Story! Relatable Characters! Fantastic Narration!
I had heard about this book several years ago, and never got around to reading it. Once I found out that it was available on Audible (my preferred medium) I downloaded it immediately.
This book takes place in the not too distant future and tackles some real problems that humanity will likely face. I believe it would appeal to both adult and young adult reader. I am usually very good at sorting out twists and turns in books and movies WAY before they show up, and this one got me a couple times. The story is great, the characters are relatable, and narration is fantastic.
I finished this book in 3 days (yes it's one of those), and will definitely be reading it again to see what I missed the first time around (now that all has been revealed). Can't wait to see what David Fleming has in store for us next

The characters, they each carried their own weight
The writer gives us a peek into a future so bleak, but with a glimmer of hope. This futuristic story is scary in that some of it is so close to our current reality. He obviously did his research on the technical aspects, but his imagination really brought the characters to life. Great read for anyone!

Great audiobook
I first read Prometheus effect when it was release in 2017 and I thought it was a great book especially for a first time author. Im now stoked that this audiobook has been released as it allows me more opportunities to experience this great story. The narrator was engaging and entertaining to listen to. I highly recommend this book to any Sci Fi fans looking for a good read!

Such a GREAT book!
This is a great book! I absolutely love the creative world, the advanced technology, and the amazing line-up of characters! I really wish they would make it a movie–this would be phenomenal on the big screen!
This author did a great job of weaving in everything I love about science fiction with everything I love about thrillers, and the cast of characters he created really captured my heart! I love that they were so easy to relate to, but yet not typical or boring in any way.
Noah was such a fun bonus! Just wait, and you'll see!
There are plot twists and turns, truly good people, bad apples, political intrigue, and a race to save humanity! This book has it all! I even had fun hating the bad guy–he reminded me of someone I know.
The narration is excellent, clear, and easy to understand at all times, even in a noisy environment! I was able to listen while in the shower and with the lawnmower running, without missing a word–that is always essential for me. Plus, the narrator's character voices made it easy to keep up with who was who, adding nuance and emotion in all the right places!
I have already listened to this book twice. I caught a lot of foreshadowing the second time through that, which made it even better! I adore those Easter eggs!
