Publisher's summary

Learn how quantum physics affects your daily life and learn practical ways to put that knowledge to good use! Ever feel guilty that you always seem to seek the easiest and shortest way to accomplish something? And why is it so satisfying to drive along a road hitting every green light, as if by magic? The Quantum Rules applies the laws of physics to explain everything from relationships and human nature to the effects of globalization. It achieves the impossible task of making quantum physics deeply relevant to all listeners - even those with no interest in science. With a lively and engaging tone, author Kunal Das ponders the underlying truths and patterns in our shared and common life experiences, using insights derived from the fundamental laws of physics. In The Quantum Rules, listeners will find a fresh, new perspective on the human experience and in the process effortlessly absorb some of the most important laws of physics without facing any math or dense logic. What you learn will surprise, entertain, and perhaps even shock you with its simple logic - once you've learned about the laziness clause, your life will never be the same again!

The analogies to everyday life were a bit strained

The sections describing physics concepts were good, but the discussions of how these can be applied to one's life were rather contrived.

Translation to Spanish

I haven't finished it yet and I'm already baffled by it. But I was looking it up in Spanish, and there's no translation. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY LOVE TO TRANSLATE IT. If you're interested, please contact me eduardescala@hotmail. com
Seriously, I think your book should be read worldwide.
Thank you

More Self-Help than Science

Much of this book is about pointing out particularities of modern life, lightly touching on a physics concept, and then extolling on all the issues of that mode of life with light analogy to the physics. Like: you know these days the world is full of people, like particles bouncing off each other. These people make up a society, blah blah, bump into each other, blah, exchange our energies, aren't people so like that. I was hoping for more science exploration rather than life observations. I'm pleased with the wide breath of subjects he touches on, but, the touch is too light to register as anything more than a convenient foil.
