Publisher's summary
As the world hurtles through a storm of cyber attacks, geopolitical strife, and relentless warfare, one small-town deputy finds himself thrust onto the front lines of a battle that transcends borders. JR Knight, a seasoned law enforcement officer, witnesses the fragility of our existence firsthand. The shelves stripped bare in local stores, the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina are not distant tales but stark reminders that our world can change instantly.
A quiet invasion unfolds in the heartland of Missouri, where amber waves of grain meet the echoes of history. *R Knight's narrative takes us beyond the familiar label of "prepper" and into a realm where survival is insufficient. It's a clarion call for unity, a plea for the United States to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with its neighbors, Canada and Mexico. Together, they must safeguard not only their sovereignty but also the salvation of the entire world.
"Quiet Invasion" is more than a story; it's a reflection of our times. JR Knight deftly weaves together the threads of identity, resilience, and hope, inviting listeners to contemplate what it truly means to be American. As you listen, you'll witness a battle fought not only with weapons but with the indomitable spirit of those who refuse to surrender, emphasizing the resilience and hope that underpin the narrative.
Prepare to be captivated, challenged, and forever changed. Welcome to a world where the quiet becomes a roar—a call to arms for humanity.

When Heather McKinley dreamed of becoming a doctor, she imagined curing sick kids and sporting pink stethoscopes. She never anticipated the sleepless nights, grueling exams, and endless labs. And she certainly never knew that her medical school earned the nickname Dead Med thanks to the tragic history of students overdosing on illegal drugs. But Heather would never consider doing anything like that. That is, until her longtime boyfriend dumps her, she finds herself failing anatomy, and her world starts to crumble.

Kidnappers grabbed Jenna in broad daylight, right in front of her children and their horrified classmates. Her family was issued an insane ransom demand: $25 million in cash and jewels, payable by the end of the school day, otherwise they’ll never see her again. As Jenna’s mother scrambles to gather the money, detectives Mo Butler and George Ortega follow the trail of the kidnappers, which will lead them through a sordid landscape of jealous lovers, broken dreamers, and twisted schemers. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Story
I look at our neighbours gathered in the garden for our annual summer barbeque, sipping chilled wine and smiling at my two daughters sprawled on the grass. I go inside to help refill glasses and then I hear it. A shrill scream that stops me in my tracks. I race outdoors to silence, a sea of bewildered faces. My first thought is for my girls, but they are there unhurt. With relief, we push the chilling sound to the back of our minds, returning to our drinks and conversations like it never happened.

Great book that feels real!
This was a great book! I enjoyed listen to it. It felt real and I had to constantly remind myself that this book is fiction. For being a first time author, you did a fantastic job telling great story that could possibly happen! If you want a read or listen to a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat, this one will do it for you! I don’t want to ruin anything, but I can’t wait for part two!
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
