Publisher's summary

Killer. Traitor. Queen.

I never thought learning about my parents would bring more questions than answers. I am a product of both my genetics and my upbringing, no matter how much my mind rages against recent revelations.

But now, it’s time to embrace the darkness that lives in my veins; the creature that prowls within. To end this once and for all, I’ll have to become someone I’ve spent my life loathing.

Lucas, Han, Noah, and Jacob are working to undermine Annex Security from inside with the help of a few unlikely allies while I take the reins and set my sights on a target closer to home.

The board is set, the pawns sacrificed, and when all is said and done, the Queen’s Gambit is poised to wipe the whole damn board. The only question is, can we all make it out? Can we survive without succumbing to the monsters we hide within?

The Scars We Bare is the third and final book in the Maven of Mayhem Series. It is highly recommended to listen to the other two books in sequential order to follow the story line. This is a full-length, why choose novel, meaning our leading lady does not need to choose between love interests to find her happily ever after and includes MM. This book contains steamy scenes and violence. Please check out the content warnings because your mental health comes first.

All good things must end...

This is an excellent ending to what had become the favorite part of my day. I loved my time with Rogue and ATO. They were funny, smart, strong and had varying unique relationships with each other. The whole series was filled with action, love, sex, death and anything else you could want out of a book.
I very much enjoyed having a strong female lead who didn't get weaker or softer when men/problems came along through the story. Her supporting characters all played their part to be exactly that, supportive of her. They gave her strength and respected her independence along the way.

Again, Kelsey Navarro and Lance Greenfield were a joy to listen to. I'll be on the lookout for more from the both of them as well as more Mila Sin.

Strange series

I don't know what to say about this series, The reverse harem is interesting and HOT!!! The guys were loving crazy and good men. Her story is sad and the what happens with King left a bad taste in my mouth even though he was a monster. Over all the short series is detailed and covers everything but not sure if I will listen again. Just tooooooo weird.

Narrators are awesome.

A Badass Female Done Right

Thank you thank you thank you to Mila Sin for writing a female protagonist who is badass through and through and doesn’t change/soften/go stupid during the story. Rogue makes this series for me because she’s f*cking reliable as a character and makes sense. Not once did I end up rolling my eyes thinking “this makes no sense for this character,” or “where the hell did her backbone go?” No. She’s Rogue through and through. And she takes no shit and she gets shit done. I think we desperately need more powerful and convincing female leads like this within this genre. Not to mention Kelsey Navarro did an excellent job bringing Rogue to life and lending strength and conviction to her character.

Lance Greenfield is always good too, but the purist in me needs him to watch a lot more British TV before voicing another character from the UK 🙃 all the other boys were perfectly convincing.
