Another homerun

An exciting second book in the series. Jamie Hawke is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.

Not as good as the 1st one

Hopefully, the last one picks up the magic of the 1st one. The story /plot arc has gotten too repetitive and sluggish.

Got too confusing with time travel

The first book was fun. This one missed it with the introduction of all the time travel stuff. It got so hard to follow that I just spaced out and ignored most of it, but that meant I missed a decent amount of the content. And Millie and Keisha sounded exactly alike in this one. Not enough difference in voice

cringe fest and Barry Sue

written by someone who wants to be the next R.R. MARTIN but comes off as a horny 14 year old with a wild imagination. the concept was interesting, which is the only reason I listened to it. but overall...cringe fest galore.
