Publisher's summary

Mila

Secret. Captive. Wife.

I had my role to play in this war. He made that clear from the start. No matter what happened between us, his hunger for revenge kept raging. Not even an act of God could change that.

But his walls are crumbling; his defenses crippled. He says I’m his weakness, the pawn that will force him into checkmate. He says I changed everything, and now he wants to bargain with my freedom.

Problem is…I no longer want it.

Saint

Liar. Devil. Husband.

It started out with a well-thought-out plan: an orphan heir, a wife, and a bulletproof plot for revenge.

Everything was lined up perfectly, and all I had to do was knock down one more wall then sit back and witness my father’s entire empire fall.

But fate intervened and took my finger off the trigger. Now I’m able to see more than just the sharp, bloody edges of vengeance.

I see her. The woman who changed everything. My wife.

She ran from me once, and I found her. A mistake I won’t make again.

This is book three of The Sins of Saint, a dark romantic suspense series intended for mature listeners. The characters are flawed with corrupted hearts and questionable intentions. If you're looking for a sweet romance with a gentle hero and a kind heroine, then this series is not for you.

Marcelo Saint Russo - Yum!

This book came after my Mila Finelli introduction to Mafia romances and while it did not maintain my extremely high high, I really enjoyed it. Saint’s name alone was a type of swagger. Say it, Marcelo Saint Russo. That’s a mouthful of jizz. He wore sexy and his every essence dripped possessive male masculinity. Who doesn’t want a man that can say no and mean no? A man that can breathe fire and ice all at once? Give this trilogy a go, I recommend it.

Charlotte Claremont is phenomenal. Her cadence is perfect. I could listen to her narrate all day.

Great performance especially given poor story

The performers were amazing, given the lazy character development in the overall series and lack of written chemistry. I would love to hear a marginally decently written storyline with good character chemistry with these two! That Italian purr of Saints... wow, it's beyond an 'accent'!!
The holes in the overall story, the rushed ending and self hatred by Saint was too unbelievable. The push and pull, why Mila was in this self hatred love-the-dominance-but-fight (and not in a believable self discovery type way) was just painful. The sexy scenes were anything but, wasting credits on the series was not worth it. Finished, but only just barely, as I kept hoping this series, that could've been better done- and in a standalone- would redeem itself. The actors were the only reason I made it to the finish line. Off to find a better author or book/series with these 2 great performers though!

WOW

This was an incredible trilogy! Once again Bella doesn’t disappoint! Saint is so incredibly unique and luring! I couldn’t stop listening!

Italian accent

I loved the story overall. However, I couldn’t hear an Italian accent but seemed more like a different accent.

The Sins of Saint❤️‍🔥

I loved this book🥵the entire series❣️ The narration was on spot and even though I think the trio of books could’ve been narrowed down to a duo it was very enjoyable. The storyline was fabulous, the edgy surprises, kinda angsty, love, lust, lies, secrets, sex and so much more but most importantly an HEA. Is it worth the credit? Hell Yes❣️

A duet would have sufficed!

The entire book has no story!
And then, in the last two chapters everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) is resolved with a couple of sentences.

Unfortunately the bad “italian” accent sux too.
All in all; a run of the mill story. No extras no ingenuity.

With a duet I would have rated it better

It started with a good plot attempt

I like the premise of dark romance. Let’s be real, the female main character is weak. No one goes from being kidnapped and tortured then in the next chapter your in love! No backbone at all and that unfortunately set the tone for the whole trilogy.

should have been 2 books

The story started strong, very dark, lots of questions but as it went on I got whiplash from H. He would act one was towards h but in the next paragraph was the complete opposite. I felt the chemistry at first but lost it by book 2. Book 3 was a waste of money and this author should have made this a 2 book series!
