I absolutely loved this book. The author kept suggesting one potential outcome but just as quickly lean you towards another. I was partially surprised by the ending as I had at one point guessed part of it then discounted it lol.
It was a very engaging story with plenty of emotion and twists and turns.

I enjoyed it so much, when I finished reading it, even though I still had a box of audiobooks to read, I ordered the other all audiobooks in the series.

Kim/Tina is a charming opportunist who attracts both people and money without really trying and has a positive history with the Carabineri in solving murders and other crimes. She has a mad assortment of friends and two fiancee. The Carabineri ask her to give them ideas regarding their newest unidentified remains so she concocted a scheme to out someone who knows the victim. There are several more outrageous schemes as well, but you'll really have to read it!
Claire Nicholls is the very versatile narrator once again!

I found this suspenseful and entertaining. I was sad for the the life lost and if the villain got one second of happiness that was too much. Psycho tendencies and greed. Karma is to be hoped-for in the next life. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.

I thought this was a really great book! I chose this audiobook because I had never listened to anything by this author and wanted to listen to a new author. This book did not disappoint! The character development was good and the storyline was fresh. I really enjoyed how the story was told from each of the character's point of view ( especially Kim), then tying it up with the Crew!
The story was fast-paced and a minute passer. I will definitely add Jason Kasper to my author list and I’m ready for the next one.

The Lake Garda Mysteries series never disappoints! As usual.the main characters were at their top game. I was really sad when it was over it was that good.

This is another top-notch thriller written by KT Ashbourne. I have listened to all of his novels and this one is one of his best. I could not put this down. It holds your attention minute after minute and has a tremendous plot twist at the end you never see coming. 5 STARS from me !!!
I can not wait for his next mystery thriller.
