The book is amazing, full of adventu
re, relationship struggles and danger. The story keeps one on the edge of their seat. The narrator did a great job with telling the story. He’s very talented. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.

This series just keeps getting better and better. I'm not tempted often to want to skip to the end of a book, then come back and finish. But this one tempted me. But I'm greatful I didnt. It keeps you on the edge of your seat at all times. My emotions have had me all over. 🙂
Jake does an amazing job, keeping you in the story. I felt as though I was right along side the characters. I recommend this series to both Young, teen and Older. I'm older and love it.

I didnt like the change in narrator and every once in awhile I get the feelings a correction had ro be made because the sound level changes

My kids and I love listening to the series. When a new book comes out we start from the beginning and listen to the whole series again. It’s easy to get invested in the characters and love/hate so many of them!
Highly recommend for older kids and everyone that loves Harry Potter type books!

As always, a smashing addition to Jake's story. I couldn't help but get a little frustrated with him and some of his friends at times, but then when you are facing a possible end of the world scenario, I guess it tends to stress you out and cause you to make rash decisions 😆. The narrator was great, and the story amazing. I laughed and cried all the way through it. I even got a bit nauseous at one point, due to incredible attention to detail in a particular scene lol, but no spoilers! You just have to figure it out by listening yourself! Seriously though, I love the Foleys and their amazing imaginations. I can't wait to get to the end of this epic tale and find out what really happens to Jake!

I am so happy! The adventures of Jake and his friends continue in this book, but this time they are all together. We get to see the dynamics of the friendships, and how each of the characters is handling the loss of a loved one. Will they pull together or apart? Will Jake be the leader for good or will his self doubt and guilt isolate him and convince him he’s destined for evil? Highly recommended!

Go write in your calendar that this is the day a book made me cry. Danny crying in front of Jake got to me.

I’ve loved this series from start to finish! I’ve been listening since the first or second book was released and it’s never a dull moment. The fiasco with finding a new narrator for whatever reason sucked but I appreciate yall finding someone who’s honestly one of the best narrators I’ve heard in a while.

This entire series is a 9/10 and I’m so excited to finally read the final book.

My only critique is that i don’t really like the way it’s gone into demonics and such. While it’s not the main focus it does bother me a little. But that’s negated by the fact everyone is actively trying to destroy the darker side.

I truly enjoyed this story. It is a wonderful continuation of the series. It demonstrates well the tension and up/down between the relationships found in friendships, loss, discovery, love and early teen emotions.
The fictional, magical, fantasy worlds that Is intersect and collide with and build upon our own world, and that life long battles of good, evil and choices faced and made are beautifully written, explored and so well narrated. It is a must read if you love this kind of classic tale.
i must admit, I am hooked, maybe even a nerd!
I love this series and was not let down at all with this continuation within the story and series. I look forward to the next book in the and can highly recommend this and all the books I have listened to thus far. If you enjoyed Harry Potter, Artemis Foul or any quality youth focused fictional fantasy you will fall in love with Jake and his friends ad they learning about themselves and fighting evils and try to save the world.
It is a wonderful creative fantasy, filled series With heroes and villains and dragons and elves and giants and mysteries deep in this magical adventures that you will fall in love with. Jake and his friends will come to life and fill your imagination. It's how our Heroes, Myth and Legend are made. The series is an instant classic in the genre. Thanks E G Foley for this feast for us to enjoy.
